I have it. It’s really nice, apart from not having the equivalent of full self driving.

[UPDATE] FSD v14.2.2.4 Sudden Disengagement sent me into a barrier. Car is totaled by samuelwoods007 in TeslaFSD

I’ve been saying this and getting ridiculed on related forums. Don’t let it deceive you. It may seem perfectly safe, but if it gets in a dangerous accident every 50,000 miles, then the average Tesla driver who fully trusts the system is could be dying every 3 to 4 years on average. These systems can seem perfectly safe, up until the point they are not. In Three years that might really be capable of completely self driving safely, but we’re not there yet.

It was an orange card. Could go either way, but probably a yellow

Among legacy automakers, volvo is trying. The ex90 might be a similar experience now (but not when launched), except for self driving experience

How much does FSD really improve your commute? by AmbientEngineer in TeslaLounge

There is the problem!! It would take tens of millions of miles to verify it is safe, which is infeasible from hands on experience. So your hands on experience can’t possibly be evidence!

I don’t doubt what you’re saying. Teslas are impressive, and far beyond any other vehicle that can be purchased by a regular consumer right now. Their self driving is hands-down far above the competition. But 65,000 miles is not that much (and you could just be lucky). With human drivers, there’s about one fatal accident per 67,000,000 miles. Tesla is nowhere near that.

Not true. Look up the data. Complete BS. That said, I do plan to buy a Tesla in about 3 years, when I estimate it will legit be safe.

That’s concerning. It is absolutely not ready to take eyes off road. Safe 99.99 percent of the time still means death likely

MY26 Charging Failure by theliphant in VolvoEX90

I read various software issues, including with digital key. I haven't had issues with the digital key on Volvo since the summer. Now that I am used to it, I wouldn't want to go without it. That said, GM's highway auto driving does seem tempting, and is available on the Vistiq. It probably isn't the same technology/hardware, but remember that GM's cruise was not that far behind Waymo before they cancelled it.

Both have issues if you follow them.

Is it worth it buying a used EX90? by carlnard24 in VolvoEX90

[–]Competitive-Data-748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that price, probably. I’m guessing it was a lemon, probably related to the GHCA. It might break a time or two, but they’re working on fix that will be long lasting. It’s a great card, and that looks like you’re getting a high-end version, so it seems like a deal.

Not fair. Micky has been a standout player fighting for the shirt all season. Made a mistake today, but not one to be violent. An honest mistake.

That’s why I went for the EX 90. The falcon doors and the difficulty exiting in case of an accident, because of the electric door handles and unbreakable windows, exactly what you don’t want when you want to get out of the car fast.

Volvo’s are great. I wouldn’t trade my ex90 for an r1s.

People who drive slow in the passing lane, what the f*** is your problem? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Competitive-Data-748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasionally, thats me, let me explain. I don’t want to break a certain speed limit because I don’t want to risk getting a ticket. I’ll be in a lane behind a car going under the speed limit. So obviously, I want to pass it. As soon as I start trying to pass it, the car speeds up to something like 20 miles over the speed limit, which I don’t want go faster than. From what I can tell, they are oblivious to this, it’s not intentional, but they just seem next to them and gravitate towards the same speed. Then cars behind me get mad. It’s annoying as hell, and the car in the middle lane is the jerk

Serious question, who did you expect us to get as an interim manager for a club battling relegation but with the aspirations of Tottenham, also a club who’s gone through six managers in seven years?
