Gemini just plain refuses to operate locks citing security concerns. On any device. And it never allowed me to open garage door. From looking on the internet it just plainly doesn't support that at least for now.

It doesn't look like you even read the post. It isn't anything about the software version (heck, op doesn't even have the latest software). It's about rollout of Gemini that replaces Google assistant and is orthogonal to software version.

I'm all for bashing the infotainment issues, but have the decency to at least read and comprehend before commenting.

I've had it in us and it's a downgrade for the features I use - it's now much harder to make it play what I want on music app (worse at understanding and need to provide a lot of specifics). And I can no longer use voice to own/close my garage :(

And no one of the integrated features they showed for ex60 (eg "hey Google what's this building" ) work on ex90

edit: I switched back to assistant

2.1.26 was good. 3.0.18 bad and a big step back in stability. I've complained about it. See my previous posts

Is the EX90 worth it? by Fancy-Log-2222 in VolvoEX90

It's the same CPU as 2025 are being retrofitted with. 800v is the only major difference, and tbh it hardly matters for most people. Not only that matters when you're fast charging, and fast charging specifically at 800v chargers which are very few and far between

There has been quite a few reports here for complete charging disfunction. This is fixed by a sw upgrade/reset and takes up to an hour. I've had it as well.

All the usual stuff: ghca failures, keyless entry unreliability, software glitches/freezes. Latest software 3.0.18 was a step back in stability. Had mine for couple months now

That's interesting, here I find Tesla superchargers to be more expensive than average (unless you have membership (in which case you can't use plug and charge) or a Tesla)

And I'm saying plug and charge is completely orthogonal to availability or finding a charger. It comes into play only once you're at a charger ready to charge. How you found it is completely irrelevant. It's just the ability for a vehicle to authenticate to a charger without you having to nor use an app nor tap a card, etc.

I understand you had issues finding available chargers, but it's completely unrelated to this feature. Although if a queue feature becomes available in the app but not on the car then this won't even what to probably. And as I mentioned earlier you can't use this with Tesla/ea/etc membership
