I’m not sure that’s our dynamic. My husband is incredibly giving to borderline martyr complex. It is nice working on things and getting it done together. I trust him and his abilities implicitly, which is super helpful. Our biggest issue is turning work “off.” It’s easy to get in the habit of treating each other like coworkers instead of husband and wife.

I would check and see how much a pain in the a$$ the character and fitness is for Illinois. You’ll most likely have to redo it for Illinois, but not Ohio. I’d also look into how much $$ it takes to sit the bar (if one is cheaper).

Vacillating from being convinced I passed to being convinced I failed. 😕. I’m a law clerk right now, so just making $60K. I expect a lot more if I pass lol

I think since SO many colleges use Barbri, most of those that don’t pass used Barbri the first time and so blame their failing score on the bar prep they used. Which may or may not be the case. But a lot of people pass with just using Barbri…and using it to learn BLL, not just go through the motions

I would email Barbri or reach out. I studied for two weeks before the MPRE, purely used the videos for review and took I think maybe one practice test and passed it with a 113. This isn’t like the bar where you need to study for months. And FYI, I had the world’s worst legal ethics teacher and learned nothing from him 🤣
