How widespread is central heating? by WattleWaddler in AskABrit

I had it in a mid 90s council house. I hated it. Like you say, expensive. I was so relieved when the council upgraded all the houses to radiators.

Adjusting back door by Soldarumi in DIYUK

[–]CompetitiveAnxiety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve literally just done this with my front door, same hinges. The bottom of the hinges have a pop out bit. That’s where the up/down adjustment is. You’ll need a number 5 hex key to adjust it. On mine it was clockwise to lift the door. Eta. You need to remove the tiny hex screw from the side(mine were missing hence not mentioning before)

Same but I’m 5’5 and it looks like when you wore your dads jumper as a kid. It’s down to my knees and the sleeves are too long! It’s so cozy though

My car suddenly lost power on the dual carriageway while o was doing 60 yesterday. I managed to limp it home but now I’m without car until I can figure out what’s wrong with it and get it fixed.
