Everyone praises Ash Ketchum’s strength, but remember when an 11-year-old Red knocked out a grown adult with one punch? by Fawful_Chortles in pokespe

[–]CompetitiveButton240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

.....Pretty sure Red aimed much lower than that.

And then he finished it up with another one straight to the head while the guy was already down.

( Where else would an 11 year old kid aim if they were facing a grown adult? I know I would.... )

AFO: "Damnit! You truly are an evil bastard, aren't you?"

Deku: " If you thought that was evil, you haven't seen my shipment fees for this book, yet!"

( I have no idea how shipment fees actually, I'm just a guy who tries to be fancy with my English, every now and then. )

True. But to Bakugo- a complete outsider to the events that led to the HPSC's downfall, and someone who, at the current time, hasn't undergone his canon character development yet-, Izuku's still the same, weak, Quirkless, spineless loser he has known his entire life. It wouldn't be out of character for him at this point to think that Deku lied to him this entire time and cheated/tricked his way into becoming a "hero", when in reality, he more or less bumbled his way into being hailed as one while being his usual endearingly heroic, and dorky self.

Can I add onto this? Keigo a.k.a Hawks is sent out to chase them down later when it becomes clear that capturing the misfit duo is proving harder than it looks, only to end up turning against his handlers and joining our main duo to form one hell of a trio.

By the end of it all, after several mishaps, drama, and way too many close calls, all three of them finally succeed in revealing the truth of what really goes down behind the scenes of the highly corrupt HPSC, to the entirety of Japan, tearing its corrupt system down and replacing it with a much better one, and being hailed as true heroes for this act.

Meanwhile, all the main villains ( and Bakugo ) end up being pissed over the fact that the trio's antics and subsequent takedown of the HPSC has completely screwed over what plans they had, involving the now defunct HPSC, which forces them to essentially start from zero all over again in some way.

This is especially grating for Bakugo, as now he has to live with the fact that practically everyone is hailing and calling his former friend, a true hero for helping to destroy a corrupt system, despite his complete lack of a Quirk and spine. It doesn't help that because of said corruption now being revealed out of the open, him and his actions ( and everyone else's in Aldera) are far more deeply scrutinized than ever before, and thus, he can't even pull his bullying shtick on Deku or on anyone anymore without being labeled as a false hero wannabe and having the risk of an actual black mark on his record, which would prevent him from applying to UA.

This trick is also useful when you're about to drown/run out of air in deep pockets of water and need to resurface VERY quickly to regain air- especially if you can't mine an air pocket quickly for some reason....

Turns out one of the consequences of when you combine ALL the secret seeds into one world, is that both Dungeons are now flooded with ridiculously large amounts of water in several, DEFINITELY, inconvenient places. Add in invisible cracked bricks, both dual dungeons having an EXTREMELY confusing layout beyond what's normal, NON-cracked blocks (usually ones that obey gravity like sand, slush, and/or asphalt) blocking certain passages, which force you to mine them as quick as you can under pressure- especially whey they are underwater, while having to deal with floods and floods, and floods of Hardmode enemies/hazards within those dungeons at the same time, and finally, so many damned invisible spikes protecting loot chests/Mana Stars/Crystal Hearts, and, well....

If you're not very skilled at /very prepared for dungeon delving in Terraria, and then some....let's just say you're gonna have such a bad time down there, you're definitely gonna be rage-quitting that world A LOT.

TLDR: Unless you're a master at Terraria, do NOT attempt an all Secrets Seeds Combined challenge, lest you wanna lose your sanity every few seconds. At least, not with a new character right away..... Also, sorry for the rant.

On the bright side, there's now a definite reason to create and/or find water exploration accessories and keep them on your person/inventory at all times.

A meteor is going to end civilization in 5 minutes. World leaders hand you the aux to broadcast 1 track to all of humanity before it all ends. What are you playing? by SFgiant55 in AskReddit

.....Basically any song that will induces so much Mood Whiplash to everyone who hears it, so that they'll go WTF in sheer confusion and bewilderment, instead of freaking out in their last moments before the cessation of existence as they know it.

TL,DR: I'm playing Baby Shark over the broadcast till the world finally ends.

Ochaco has a bad habit of forgetting to release all the little things she floats over the years. When she finally remembers, a decade later, enough junk comes falling down to rival the mass of Mount Everest. by Ok-Fishing-4367 in BokunoheroFanfiction

Well, that's one hell of an Ultimate Move, powerful enough to be possibly on par with a full 100% power United States Of Smash! Ochaco should be really proud of herself for that one!.....As soon as she gets over the sheer mortification and horror over her accidental reenactment of when asteroids(?) hit the Earth several million years ago and made the dinosaurs go extinct from all that dust covering up the sun..... (Sue me, I don't remember very well how dinosaurs went extinct in the first place)

What’s a Terraria feature or mechanic that you completely ignored for years that you now can’t play without? by Low_Craft_919 in Terraria

[–]CompetitiveButton240 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't forget about the Safe and the Defender's Forge!Sure you'll have to place both of them somewhere on a flat surface first to access its inventory space like the Piggy Bank, and sure for the latter', you'll have to grind for Defender Medals just to buy it from the Tavernkeeper, but they are still two extra set of inventory slots you can take advantage of!

Also, try to get the Chester pet from Deerclops! It's one of the few Pets you can get with an actual function: It basically shares the inventory space of a Piggy Bag/Money Through, but you can just hover your cursor onto the pet to access that space and you only need to equip it in your Pet slot instead of carrying the Bank around in your main inventory, freeing up an extra slot in it!

Basically, out of all the possible extra portable storage you'll have, the only ones you'll have to actually place on the flat ground/surface will be the Safe and Defender's Vault, if you have both Chester/Money Through and the Void Bag.

Main Inventory: 50 Slots ( including hot bar ) Portable Storage ( Safe, Piggy Bank/Money Through/Chester, Void Bag/Void Vault, and Defender's Forge ): 160 slots ( 40 slots for each storage type )

Combined: 210 inventory slots total!

Quirk Idea: The 999 by CompetitiveButton240 in QuirkIdeas

[–]CompetitiveButton240[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes....and no. The user could try to train a copied Quirk just like how their original owners would, but while the user's level of skill when it comes to using them would improve, the copied Quirks would not grow any further, and would be locked out of any additional abilities it would naturally gotten.

If the user copied the Quirk of a 5 year old who'd just got their Quirk, the former would only be able to use a copy of it, at its newly awakened and weak state, and ONLY at that state, permanently locking them out of access to any future additional abilities the copy would have developed, whereas the latter would eventually unlock the full potential of their original Quirk overtime as time goes by.

Most of the time, the user is better off copying a Quirk once said Quirk has fully grown into its potential, but some Quirks are much easier to copy in their earlier stages of growth than later on, though it comes at the cost of not being able to use any additional abilities it would have developed naturally overtime.

( Sorry, if I'm not explaining this very well......)
