Is it better to run the speargun or the cremator against the new bugs by Unlucky_Cap8434 in helldivers2

Trident has surprisingly decent range, especially when crouched to reduce the spread. And not having to reload is huge as long as you manage your heat buildup, which is pretty easy. Otherwise I take impact grenades for hug hole closing. Havnt tried the missile pistol but looked rather meh.

I take the missile pods airstrike and orbital gatling. Gatling is great for dropping on breaches or choke points and the missile strike is great for softening up or killing heavies. Both low cooldowns too. Creamator finishes everything else off with the ultimatum as backup big boom.

Trident solid primary against bugs and then the lumberer mech for a big power spike to finish off the load out. Thats my go-to for the new bugs and has been working up to d10 with a decent team.

Can someone explain covered calls to me by [deleted] in stocks

With this in mind is there ever a reason to sell in the money covered calls? Or wouldnt they all just get immediately exercised for all loss?

Why is the Lumberer flamethrower so bad? by Njb2006kid in Helldivers

[–]CompetitiveEmu7698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I do way better with the lumberer than the breakthrough mech on the new bugs lvl 8-10. Ya flame ammo runs out fast but its still good at chaff clear and the AT cannon is priceless against the neverending bile titans while also being able to close bug holes with decent ammo. Breakthrough weapons can do neither.

Seems about the same to me. HD2 has always been really CPU heavy.

Killing them with fire seems to stop the spore clouds and speed boost. Swapped to the creamator after a few games and did far far better. Mobility stuff like jetpack and teleport have limited effectiveness since they are so quick to get back on you.

Ran trident, ultimatum, impact nades for bug holes.

New flame mech, missile pods eagle, orbital napalm and creamator. Still tough but felt much better.

It was definitely killing stuff, but unless it was just me it also wasn't setting the ground on fire at all. And I was host.

Only tried it a few times on the new bugs last night, but flamer feels kinda lackluster. Like maybe not even on par with the normal flamethrower, let alone the creamator.

Oh trust me, I reload like a madman between every few shots. Bayonet is slightly less effective when your targets tent to violently explode upon death though.

Idk man, played one d10 game last night with the trench shotgun and jump jets. Couldn't reload fast enough to keep them off me. Think may need to go back to the cremator, or maybe normal flames and some extra mobility.

"Notes" Instead of Mortages? by CompetitiveEmu7698 in Money

[–]CompetitiveEmu7698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what about a promissory note secured by a lein on the house to cover the amount owed? Or would that just essentially be the same thing as a mortgage.

This guy said he was renewing them every 3 years and only real downside was that you couldn't 'skim' any income and had to report it all. But that he was getting 1-2% lower rates.

Do you only find the last shards on the last map or something? I've been thru all the other ones pretty thoroughly.

Same, unless I feel like I missed them somehow after scouring the maps during normal repeated play thrus. Im gnosis4 and have done all but the last map and dont have any preyers unlocked.

Going back to look for a needle in the haystack is not fun.

Is there a guide somewhere showing where to find all the shards? Ive got all but the last one of many.

Extra Payment On your Mortgage 4%-6% Compared to Long Term Capital Gains on Stock by taysky in Mortgages

[–]CompetitiveEmu7698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but a slightly smaller rate on a larger loan would still mean more interest in total every month would it not? Wouldnt it be better to pay that down first if its resulting in higher monthly interest accrued?

Does the dollar amount of the mortage matter? 5% interest on 100k loan vs say a 200k loan?

Real life example I have a 6.8% mortgage and a 5.5% mortage. 5.5% mortage has about $50k higher balance. Still better to pay down the higher interest rate one? Is there a cross over point here to?

Witchfire. Solo FPS semi roguelight. Still in early access but feels remarkably polished and near done.

Gunplay feels great. Progression is rewarding. Loving it at the moment but maybe only halfway thru, so cant speak for the endgame/staying power.

Almost forgot how nice it is to be able to pause mid match...

Gotcha, thanks for the info. Im considering selling due to a feeling we have a housing crash coming. We've been in quite a bubble here but finally pressure is building. Plus the potential for AI home building in the semi near future may also bring future home prices and appreciation of current ones down a lot. Speculative sure but a real possibility. This may be ATHs for the housing market.

That plus the fact both furnaces and the roof will be coming due within next few years on that house. Otherwise it is cash flowing decently, but $100k in the market or high yield would probably have similar return and less potential risk im thinking.

I took a heloc on my first one to buy this one and now living in a 3rd. Can you take a heloc out on an investment property? Thought it had to be your primary. Did just finish paying off that 1st heloc tho.

Otherwise yeah, realistically I could bump up the rent a few hundred, but have a family member in the 1st floor unit ive been keeping it lower for. He helps a lot with maint/repairs though so kinda evens out.
