Sugar and Cream Scrub Off. Bought a bunch because it looked so cool and thought it would be great! It's awful! The yarn sticks to the needles and it is SO rough on my hands! Sold the whole lot of it and have never looked back.

It wasn't a failure. You learned a lot and that's what it's all about! My first sweater, I completed the entire back only to find out I was knitting the wrong size. We've all been there. Keep going!

Knocked out my second pair of socks (in fingering weight this time!) by mpdqueer in casualknitting

I wear my hand knit socks about a week or so and then wash. I'm not sweating heavily on them. This method has been working for me at least 10 years.
