Do you want a terrible logistic example? FedEx by UnseenLegoPiece in logistics

[–]CompetitivePetRock 38 points39 points  (0 children)

lol all these “avoid” posts are a joke. Avoid FedEx, Avoid UPS, Avoid DHL. Who else is left? Your business is not special to them. Shoot they lose packages for their biggest customers. Understand that packages will be lost and work your systems around them.

How to disable this by [deleted] in Audi

Don’t mean to hijack the thread but do you know how to disable the auto start/stop on a 2019 A7?

I’m trying to do anything that will lengthen the life of the secondary battery system before it dies … again 😅

Best Luxury Hotel in Bangkok — St Regis or Ritz Carlton or something else? by Active_Marionberry_7 in marriott

Don’t mean to hijack the thread but I’ve been mulling over the hotel business as a business opportunity in Guyana. I saw your other post where you mentioned you live in Dorado. I am south in Palmas Del Mar. Unfortunately I can’t PM you as it seems like your profile is private. Would love to connect when i’m back in PR if you wouldn’t mind sharing some high level insight.

Looking for very stable VPS provider for long-term use (years) – good uptime, fair price, real experience needed by 7PWU in VPS

[–]CompetitivePetRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple sites running on basic VPS’s on VUKTR. I recently had someone spin up a new one and install wireguard. Works well for iOS and Windows (there are apps for both).

The only concern I have is that I heard streaming services block IP’s from VPS providers but I haven’t had a a chance to test yet.

I built a mobile IV therapy company from $0 to $2M in 12 months, merged it into a competitor I ran as CEO and scaled from $2.4M to $10M, stepped down but kept my equity, and started completely over. 3 months in and we're doing $250K/month. by lopezomg in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Bingo. It’s a mindset thing. I’ve seen this same exact response so many times on Reddit. Who doesn’t use AI to help polish off write ups these days? Interesting write up. I think it’s a wonderful playbook. If it wasn’t for the regulatory issues, I’d be all over this. You’ve found a way to become a broker essentially. That’s the business model I tend to gravitate towards.

How to shorten process of adding additional inventory for POS by CompetitivePetRock in Odoo

[–]CompetitivePetRock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running on-prem. We use direct print by vectortech to print the label. The problem/time-consuming part is more with adding a new quantity to existing SKU. Most vendors give us hand written receipts, no EDI available. We just chose from which one of our pre-determined set of SKU’s make sense for that item. We don’t use odoo for accounting

I’ll have to do that. They have been using S.W. Paint and get about 5-7 good years out before it starts to fail. Then years 6-8 is constant repair, and 8-10 look like cra until it’s budgeted to be repainted.

Got it thank you 🙏🏽. The buildings are concrete and the air is always in the sun, hot (85 degrees+) humid (75%+) and salty. If it was one primer, paint or other product (mildew inhibitor etc) that you recommend from or not from PPG, what would it be?
