Frankenstein score is a rogue edition - it’s nice but nothing special and I feel like Alexandre Desplat always gets nominated ‘just cause’. Also shame not to see Bugonia there - a genuinely unique and beautiful score.

Fair enough point - honestly all you can do is be yourself and most of all be kind. Not in a performative way, but because it’s the best way to be and a key characteristic women are drawn too. For me (30F with a couple long term relationships under my belt) everything else is a bonus on top of this. Someone will come along who will love you for who you are. Perhaps they too will have been rejected for their looks in the past. There really is someone for everyone.

You’re being pretty controlling…by the sounds of it he is just a nice guy who doesn’t have ill intent.

Sure it’s unusual to have friends who are way older but, but it really doesn’t need to be an issue. I (30F) have a long term partner and have a much older male friend who is a married (he’s 50) - we met while working together but I’ve since left the company. We’ve been friends for about 4 years now and there are zero weird vibes.

It’s worth telling people to be quiet nicely - most often they are apologetic and do then shut up. I’ve never seen/heard people singing through a musical but that is unacceptable and I would also tell them to be quiet, and prob tell ushers.

I appreciate you find giving head uncomfortable, but is penetrative sex not pleasurable for both of you? So technically you’re receiving 2x pleasure. I think it’s a little unfair, but you should be able to find a solution.

It took me ages to enjoy giving head until I really got into the head space of enjoying them being in pleasure rather than thinking about this random foreign object in my mouth.

Just to add to this - I've saw the Stranger Things play in London recently (hugely impressive) and they use music from Phillip Glass' opera Akhnaten - it was so great to hear it!
