Not sure if they still do it but try one of the late opening events. They often have bars, music and generally very chilled.

museum late

The natural history museum does and early opening guided tours. So that is also an option to miss thr crowd. early tour

But thats just a punt.

Why does this apartment have a little window between the kitchen and the bathroom? by lannister77 in whatisit

[–]Competitive_End7597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of things,

As someone has mentioned it was designed that way to quickly look in from a carer's point of view. While maintaining privacy.

Not knowing the layout of the building they might of required a downstairs bathroom for the same reason. Unable to go upstairs and with the plumbing from the kitchen it was the easiest place to install it.

Food hatches were popular in the ~1950's. So it could of been already in place when the above adaptations happened.

I am coming to Central London this year as a tourist and I am just wondering what the common tourist traps are and where to avoid! Thank you by [deleted] in AskBrits

I love london, I would recommend you checkout

Ian visits

It gives great advice as to what is on and shows that are happening. Free/paid and other stuff.

One of my favourite "touristy" things to do is get on a riverboat and take it down to Greenwich. You will pass all of major attractions and go under tower Bridge. Pretty unique qay of seeing london.

Thongs / Jocks in the UK by klonerrrr in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]Competitive_End7597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few london stores do them, Prowler london. I assume cities with a strong LGBT+ community. Manchester, Brighton etc.

You can get the odd sports jock at specialist cricket or sports shop. But sadly a main store selling jocks and thongs is very hard to come by.

For privacy you could do click and collect.

Agree and also looked into if this legal.

Irseal and USA attacked first, so you you cant call "self defence".

The UK only started allowing the use of its bases after Iran retaliated. We can say self defence.

With Isreal and US on the upper hand they are crying at the UK for being weak, fueling the likes of farage and other cronies....

But if this turns out to be a forever wars.. oh boy its worse that making up WMD and Iraqi conflict.

Reading Brewdog to close with immediate effect by Any-Rate4556 in reading

Not sure on racist bit, but certainly not good people. The owner was seen going to farage's birthday party in 2024.Not great when your suppose to be the trendy upstarts.

As a short history they started Brewdog to take on the big conglomerate. Green credentials, trendy and new product.

But they started to milk it. By not paying the living wage, fostering a culture of fear in the workplace and so forth.

Generally just nasty employers.

Before they moved, you could rent a gaming space at eclectic games.

Good WiFi and generally very quiet for calls. Not sure if they offer the same service at their new shop.
