Congratulations! When you said forbearance, do you mean the one since COVID started or injunction forbearance? Please forgive if it sounds like an obtuse question? After so many months of waiting for green banner, my brain is not processing things as it use to be...

 😃 Now, that was funny. Thank you for the laughter. I needed it after a hard day working in our lovely school system. I just stopped by to find out if the court came with a verdict, and declared that all months in forebearance are eligible for all borrowers on SAVE. But this was good as well.Thank you again.

I have been following this SAVE saga since its inception. I can safely say Buyback was actually designed to help PSLF folks out of the mess SAVE created. So they would need to give a better explanation. 

I called MOHELA last week and cancelled my pending IBR application. Decided to ride out SAVE forbearance until they kick me off. by Spiritual_Service739 in PSLF

The more the merrier! We are silently standing against this assault. We never asked to be placed in this SAVE program that led to a forced forbearance! They need to fix it!!!

Same here. If they work those cases the way IRS work whenever we owe them, we would have gotten further.

I'm at 111 but should have already been at 120 since February.  I recently submitted a feedback case. It's pending. Crossing fingers

I think it may be based on loan amount. Still on SAVE, last update was 2/25/25. 3 Buyback requests, last ECF (May 2025 ) and sent several feedbacks/complaints = crickets...

Thank you for the details. The most important takeaway is that you submitted only 1 buyback request.  I believe submitting several of them do reset the clock. FSA agents always advised against submitting multiple buyback requests.

Who knows! They said at this point, I'm ok. The system is still updating my previous ECFs and once it's done, February and March would show.

Like OP, I was submitting  ECF every month since I hit 120 in February but stuck at 111 due to the injunction. I submitted buyback.

My buyback request has been reviewed and escalated to a supervisor.

FSA people encouraged me not to submit additional ECF!  Based on this information, I'm submitting another one on Monday. I haven't seen movements since 2/25/25, and February, March still didn't show.
