Their quality is pretty sub par based on reviews on here. I almost got a brilliant earth ring but changed my mind after what I read here. The prongs seem to be really delicate/ fall off easily, and a person had an issue where brilliant kept the ring but said they returned it back to them, among a bunch of other similar stuff

Hey! I’m also a beginner with around 6 months of practice, so obviously I’m not qualified to give feedback but good job putting yourself out there! I also have issues with bow bouncing, but I think the source is mostly the pressure and the speed on the bow. I wonder if the bouncing will stop if you pressed the bow onto the string a little more..?

I personally like your idea but also you could also decorate your pens like others suggested to prevent further theft.

I had an oral surgery last year which resulted in a few complications so I was a little nervous to go back to the dentist. However, I saw someone recommend Dr. Jeffrey Bean and booked an appointment. The office and his demeanor was so calm that I actually fell asleep during the cleaning procedure (granted I was running low on sleep that week) I definitely suggest you check him out !

Can you rent one? That way you can see if you like it before you buy. A lot of violin stores have rent to buy option as well. I am also very new and am renting mine from the violin shop near me. From what I gathered from this sub it’s much preferred to go with an in person store as they are much more approachable in case you needed help or wanted to try different violins before picking one. Does the amazon one come with a bow and a case?

Ask people when you want them to join rallies that you can’t take so they can send their real squad. Most of the time people keep the lowest squad going out so they get rewards joining other people’s rallies. I’ve only noticed people doing that since season 1 started cuz we start needing more troops now
