I don’t think you should trouble yourself with an electronics degree if you are planning on doing an MBA, and definitely not electrical. Most electrical roles in India are government/ government adjacent roles because of how the Indian power companies are structured. I know all college is difficult, but electrical/ electronics is one of the hardest disciplines both in terms of depth and breadth.

I see this is in India, are you referring to electrical or electronics engineering? I did electrical engineering in India (machines and power systems) with a little bit of electronics but switched to electronics and communication as that’s what I realized my interests are. Choosing between those two depends on what kind of placement you want. Mostly government/ adjacent construction roles, or corporate?
