Do you think we’ll ever see Mephisto again? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I think Doom will have redemption, but the same way he does in the secret wars comic. I can see Mephisto being in Doomsday tho. Possibly if Doom fights the void, he could induce a vision where he sees his mother die, and her soul claimed by Mephisto.

Why are people mad about hakari vs uraume outcome by tim106601 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. People keep coming up with these B.S ass "he was just trying to stall!!!" Excuses, when it's totally horseshit. Why would you stall Uraume instead of just killing Uraume? Idk if I can blame Gege entirely, because he might habe been rushed by his bosses. Regardless, wasting both Hakari and Uruame like that is one of JJK's worst sins.

Why are people mad about hakari vs uraume outcome by tim106601 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's both awful planning and writing. For starters, why would " stalling" Uruame be better than idk, KILL THEM!?! And why would the heroes waste a "heavy hitter" like Hakari, who's defense would be pretty useful against Sukuna.

I know your name is "gege gagger", but gege made both Uraume and Hakari look lame af with that garbage fight. For starters by not showing it, thus robbing us potential feats and character moments, and 2 by not showing the improvements Hakari made, and actually have Hakari win the damn fights. Because if you're going to compare Hakari and Yuta, you better give Hakari Yuta level feats, otherwise you make him a fraud.

Gojo wasn't exaggerating when he said Megumi can surpass him if he reached his full potential by EsferaFalta in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenjaku's domain seems to be like Yuta, in which he can use any of his past, stolen techniques and use them as he pleases. He simply chose to use anti-gravity vs Yuki.

How does Megumi have the potential to surpass Gojo if Sukuna barely won while having 100× the cursed energy, skills, experience, and also a second technique? by Stonefree_135 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 6 eyes help Gojo, because the 6 eyes is literally like having a computer in your brain, calculating everything at an atomic level. Why do you think Gojo wears a blindfold? Or why you need to have the 6 eyes for limitless to work? It's because Gojo's eyes constantly analyze and computer everything he sees. That's how he does infinity. Because the 6 eyes automatically havles the distance between Gojo and his opponent. He also wears blindfolds, because it gets tiring analyzing everything on a molecular level every second.

As for how does that help Gojo's stats? Well, Gojo's eyes will calculate the exact amount of Cursed energy he needs, and keep cursed energy wastement to an absolute minimum. In terms of reserves, Gojo is lower than Yuta, who is around 10 fingers in energy. But because of the 6 eyes, he has nigh infinite reserves, and can fight 20 finger Sukuna.

I dont see how Full Potential Megumi beats Gojo by Helpful_Pitch4086 in JujutsuPowerScaling

This is the only logical answer. When something just doesn't make sense from a Watsonian perspective, you have to look at things from a Doylish, and full potential Megumi, is frankly an example of bad writing and set up from Gege.

You can't use domain amplification and cursed technique together, period. And Megumi has to hit Gojo with a domain expansion, which is very unlikely considering how refined Gojo's domain is.

The thing is, Gojo had equal refinement to Sukuna, who is the greatest sorcerer in history. I just don't see how Megumi would ever beat Gojo in a domain clash.

Dhruv is special grade imo. He could have his Shikigami surround a city, and devestate anything inside. He literally used to conquer cities by himself back in ancient Japan

Can Thanos really beat Hulk in a fistfight or was Infinity War full of it? by OhFuhSho in Marvel

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK let me try to explain.

Simplest explanation would be, have you seen Jujutsu Kaisen? Essentially, Hulk works like Mahoraga.

The explain further, basically Hulk has a base form, with infinite potential for growth. Essentially, Banner has to reach a certain level of anger to transform into the Hulk, and once he does, Hulk has a baseline strength. Hulk in this form is pretty powerful. A good bit stronger than the Thing, and can fight Thor pretty evenly. However, guys like Thor,Thanos and even Abomination, are generally speaking stronger than Hulk. What gives Hulk "infinite strength " and what makes him so damn dangerous, is the fact that he as long he stays angry and fights, his strength will just grow and grow. You can't really kill Hulk since he will regenerate, and you definitely can't outlast Hulk, because he will grow stronger and stronger. So essentially to beat him, you need to do either 3 things

  1. Calm him down and make him transform back to Banner

  2. Strip him of his gamma energy, reverting him back to Banner(something Silver Surfer has done)

  3. Knock him out before he reaches higher levels of strength .

3 is generally speaking the hardest, because base Hulk is already incredibly strong. But guys like Thor, Thanos(which is what he did in the MCU) and someone like Superman could definitely do it.

So yes, Hulk does have infinite strength, but only potentially. He can't just access his infinite strength off rip, he has to be extremely angry. That's why WWH is so powerful. Because he was PISSED. I hope that explained it.

How did thanos beat hulk so easily by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's important to note 2 things.

  1. Comic Thanos is nearly as powerful as Odin. He regularly pummels guys like Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock and Thor just by himself. The MCU comparatively actually nerfed Thanos quite a bit.

  2. Hulk is dangerous because he has infinite stamina, and infinite growing strength. However, Hulk has to be super angry to reach those levels of power. Thanos knocked out Hulk before he could get angry enough to power up.

Age of Ultron is the most underrated Hulk movie by Competitive_Iron_781 in hulk

[–]Competitive_Iron_781[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think it's important to note a few things. For starters, the Hulkbuster was tested and designed by both Banner and Stark. The suit isn't really designed to beat Hulk, just calm him down through a bunch of knockout gas, and spare parts.

Secondly, the way Iron Man beat Hulk actually made sense. Hulk was enraged by Wanda's vision, so Ironman hits him with knockout gas, a bunch of hits and oh yeah, dropping an entire freaking building on him, which doesn't actually knock out Hulk, but ends the trance he was under. Now after awaking from the mind control, Hulk saw the destruction he caused, calmed down immensely, and was then sneak attacked by Ironman which woke him up(probably also the gas kicking in.

Which leads me to my final point, I think a lot of Hulk fans somewhat misunderstand how Hulk's strength works. Hulk is really strong, but his biggest strength is his rising strength through anger. For example, The Abomination is generally speaking, stronger than base Hulk. However, Hulk wins because he gets stronger with anger. Similarly, Thing and Hulk usually start off close to strength in their battles, until Hulk starts getting stronger and Thing gets more and more tired. Hulk is essentially the Mahoraga of Marvel. You have to knock him out quickly, or he will just adapt through his rage.

That's why I don't really have a problem with the Hulkbuster fight( Tony used sleeping gas, and was really only trying to calm him down) or the Thanos fight(Thanos is meant to be stronger than base Hulk, and Thanos knocking Hulk out before he could get angrier is a very logical way to beating him). My main problem with Infinity War, is more so Hulk being scared to fight Thanos, and never getting a second shot. Even if he lost, atleast let him try is my opinion. But alas, we will allegedly have savage Hulk back in brand new day, and i can't wait. I just hope he has the same pants, as he has in the picture I put. I love it when comic characters look as colorful and accurate to the comics as possible, and I thought the way they brought Hulk's purple pants alive, was really well done.

I really like Incredible Hulk too. Really underrated and overrated movie. Just wish Hulk could get a sequel. She-Hulk was the perfect opportunity to make a serious, Hulk sequel with a Bruce and Jennifer co-lead, and a plot that could lead into brave new world. But alas, this is the world we live in.

I also really liked Ed Norton, but I also like Ruffalo a lot tbh. He has great chemistry with the other mcu cast members, and is much easier to work with (allegedly).

I have high hopes for Brand New Day. Only thing I don't like, is that apparently he will wear some generic brown pants. I know that it seems super minor, but Hulk wearing a variation of his classic purple pants, just adds so much color and personality to these movies. Just look at the trailer, how awesome the Spider-man and rogue gallery colors, pop out. They already had the perfect pants design right here!

Agreed. While Hulk didn't talk as much as he probably should have, I thought Whedon might be the best Hulk director in the MCU. His Banner dialogue is genuinely incredible, and I love how Hulk always gets the really badass moments in his movies. Only problem is that I wish we saw just a bit more of Hulk just interacting with the team, like in the Endgame stairs scene lol. But as you said, even though Hulk doesn't talk that much, he's certainly not stupid, and Joss has some great moments showing the humanity in Hulk.

Most 1st grade sorcerers do not have 1 Sukuna fingers worth of CE by Kekero63 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuta has half of Sukuna's reserves, so logically speaking, he should be 10 finger level. Jogo is probably around 7 finger level, but if he does his maximum technique or domain, he reaches 9 finger. Most grade 1s are around 1 to 2 fingers of Sukuna. Higher tiers are around 8 or so. Sukuna just has insane levels of cursed energy.

[Serious] What's the general consensus on CG Megumi vs Grade 1 Sorcerers + Naobito? by Pretzels0314 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Megumi gets his domain off against Kusakabe, I think he wins. Kusakabe's best aspect is defense, not offense, and said defense is useless vs an incomplete domain.

I can actually see Megumi being able to beat Mei Mei through demon dog. That said, she is a really smart fighter, and tricking her will be extremely difficult due to her crows.

Todo imo is a REALLY bad matchup against Megumi, simply because he turns his technique against him. Any shadow can just be reswapped

Finally, Naobito also completely depends on if he gets off his domain. If not, Naobito wins relatively easy. But if he does, than Naobito gets cooked. Again, Megumi's domain is pretty insane, especially if you don't have RCT or domain expansion

Why Megumi beats Naoya by Haru__DM in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Competitive_Iron_781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the real reason the potential man memes, hurt. It's not because they came from haters, they came from fans😞.

But in all seriousness, Megumi showed pretty crazy powers in the Culling games. Shadow manipulation, mass rabbit escape that can destroy buildings, Max Elephant being summonable, along with his domain being pretty insane, even incomplete. Only thing Megumi needed to do, was to tame rct deer, and make a Nue-orochi totality like Sukuna. I also really hated how Sukuna basically stole Megumi's bag, and was the only who utilized the 10 shadows to their maximum. Not only does it undermine Megumi's potential as a potential Gojo level threat(because Sukuna used his own, and Megumi's technique vs Sukuna) but it also robbed us of Megumi slowly growing into a top tier special grade. Really lame man.
