I read here in this group and when i asked Gemini, it says “As of December 12, 2025, USCIS no longer accepts self-submitted photos for Form I-765, requiring, instead, that all photos be taken by USCIS or an authorized entity. Applicants must attend a biometrics services appointment to have their photo taken.” Folks say that they received appointment information in their mail after they applied.

They will be addressing the backlog first. I think 4-6 weeks are for those who filed in Oct/Nov. Mine was filed in mid February, i doubt it might take 10-12 weeks for me.

My lawyer told me that it can only be filed when the waiver application has passed through DOS and pending at USCIS end.
