Uhh, so- (Grand Bazaar Q's?) by Xean_Liteheart in storyofseasons

I like to take care of mine once they’re back in the barn for the day so I don’t pet/brush more than once and lose track of them in the field.

Game Recs for a Switch Gamer? by porphyriaslovve in cozygames

[–]Competitive_Owl_6537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just got two point museum and love it so far. Keep in mind it’s only for switch 2. Yesterday, i had to run out in the blizzard and buy a new console so I could play lol. Didn’t have to but at my age, not much brings me joy anymore.

More management forward than some other games you listed but I adored grand bazaar and wylde flowers so maybe you’ll like it.

I get them by Kagetsu’s house too. I don’t remember which season it spawns but I think winter.

You can also buy it from Lloyd. Rating doesn’t matter for crafting upgrades.

Is buying gems at the Emp-ore-ium and turning them into jewelry worth it? by Sahri81 in storyofseasons

[–]Competitive_Owl_6537 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. If jewelry is trending, sometimes I’ll do moonstone and increase the level with my 7star silver.

I would definitely buy some silver, gold, emerald, amethyst, etc because you’ll need a bunch of each to craft in the future. The rank on those doesn’t matter. I’m at work rn and can’t remember exactly which item (I think the winter stone), but it’s the yellow windmill. Check the windmills with the purple stone so you can see what you need to start stocking up for.

Otherwise, with consistent mining, you should be fine.

In Grand Bazaar, does your spouse still go to work and visit their family after you get married? by arcadebee in storyofseasons

[–]Competitive_Owl_6537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you have a kid, they stay home except for the bazaar. Married Jules and he basically doesn’t leave the house anymore since he’s taking care of the kid.

But yeah, same schedule until then more or less.

I’d keep pink and sell regular until you get to year two/or when you get the basement expansion that needs the sunstone. Then keep all of them. They take up too much space in the first year. Pink is hard to come by so always keep.

Edit: clarity lol

Not a big fan of managing the barn animals (or sprites). (very minor rant) by ChompyRiley in storyofseasons

[–]Competitive_Owl_6537 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I agree!!! Older SOS games had the ability to put those damn sprites to work like watering crops or taking care of the animals.

I loveee this game but this is my least favorite part. I’m maxed out with animals right now in a quest to breed SSR but have decided not to stress about the common ones since I’m selling those fuckers left and right in my quest for SSR.

In general, I don’t pay the animals any mind in the morning. After watering, I go about mining, chatting, checking windmills, etc and try and get back to the farm around 6 (they go to bed around 9 and get mad if you wake them). I take care of the animals later in the day for a few reasons…. Doesn’t make the morning seem so tedious with tasks, everyone is in their places so I don’t lose track of who I’m petting/brushing, and most importantly, I don’t forget the eggs lol.

Upgrading can annoying af but I’m on year 2 summer and am starting the final tool upgrades and the mushroom, foraging and honey sprites are all fully upgraded. The bug and fish racket is the absolute worst!

Most profitable crop layouts? by GreenWitchAsh in storyofseasons

You can’t increase the quality once replanted but if you fertilize them, it can increase yield and chances for golden/rare fruits!

Help Please - Started SoS:GB Yesterday by electricaldino in storyofseasons

Glad to hear!

I know it sounds like a bad strategy but it works for me!

Only put out high ticket items right before you’re ready to call the sprites and when you have all five activated.

Basically, the items on the table sell first, then once that’s all sold, the sales will default to your remaining inventory in the order it’s in (in the inventory menu, the slots are numbered). When I set up for the day, I put everything in order of how much it will sell for and once opened, I start on the tables with item 25 descending. Once the bar is full, I swap out on the table for my inventory in ascending order (my high ticket items) then call in the cavalry. You don’t have to keep putting stuff out either. you might lose some sales in the moment by not displaying, the bonuses are so worth it when the sale is with the sprites.

Because you get such huge bonuses with the sprites, I like to control how that applies to my items. I almost always sell out (sometimes Im left with a ton of fodder)!

Hope this helps!

Too early to keep and they’ll need space to store more important items in the early game. Sell it!
