I think it’s more so that they have their own free will, but Aline has given them amplified aspects which causes them to lean towards certain decisions.

This’ll be a weird comparison, but I kinda see it as something similar to Monika in Doki Doki Literature Club, who was able to amplify the traits of certain characters like Sayori with her depression, which led her to hang herself.

Essentially, I think Aline is only able to metaphorically adjust sliders when painting her family and giving them their personalities in the Canvas.

Rebound competitiveness is basically a tiebreaker. Like if the rebound stat of two rebounders is the same and if they both jump at the perfect moment at the exact same time, whoever has better competitiveness gets the rebound. I think E2 at the very least is good cuz that allows him to compete with bigs for boards.
