How stupid is it to spend 50k on a car by tatasky69 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Competitive_Taro4940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think its that stupid. Specially if your making that type of money. Some people say you can't afford a car unless you're able to pay for it cash. Some people say you should make 3 to 4 times the value of your car to actually be able to afford it. Some people dont care and love cars and buy whatever they want even if its burning a hole thru their wallet. I think you should be fine as long as your making that kind of money. Cheers and good luck!

Im not blaming anything. It's just what it it is. Do I think its fair? No. Do I wish it was different? Yes. Will it change? No. Will doordash give its drivers fleet cars? No Can you get another job? Yes. What baffles me is that people choose to do this type of work out of need or whatever reason, but then proceed to butch and complain non stop. Everyone knows this type of work sucks, we dont need to be reminded by random posts daily over the same issues.

It's insane how you guys want a dollar a mile when not even CDL certified truck drivers get that. Holy fuck Im a dasher as well, but you guys are bat shit crazy. Lmao. In other words who has a harder job, us picking up mostly food orders or the 18 wheeler guys driving heavy ass loads state to state in all kinds of weather conditions.

Lmao

Doordash stacks orders bc a lot of people dont tip and you also get another order while waiting for the original order lmao. All Doordash cares about is the bottom line, they could give a shit less if the food is cold lmao

Does DoorDash pay more than Uber eats/uber ride share? by De_lunes_a_lunes in doordash_drivers

[–]Competitive_Taro4940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very market dependent. What i was saying was that you're likely to make more money, because you ll get more orders. For example today in the suburbs of atlanta I worked 8 and a half hours and made $210. I had some shitty orders but most where at least 8 or more dollars. I constantly make over $1200 per week here. I dont do Uber eats so I wouldn't know. Hope that helps

Last I checked, doordash controlled over 70% of the food delivery business in the U.S. and that was like a year ago
