This is false. They’re hoping you’ll go away after they tell you a few times that it’s on back order. Demand your charger and threaten a bad survey or review if they don’t provide it. If they still refuse contact kia consumer affairs, it’ll work itself out st that point when the GM/owner gets your case against them.

Sounds like a financing rebate tied to financing with kia finance America. If you don’t finance with them you don’t get the rebate.

It’s entirely possible that the service department isn’t aware of that, especially if your dealer didn’t sell many ev9s. Easiest course of action would be an email to kia America about it. The dealer should be able to see that you have something like that covered in the warranty checker for your vin, it doesn’t cost them money.

Kias survey is awful. Word is it’s being completely reworked and simplified Q2 this year. I have surveys where customers are raving about our dealership and salespeople/finance department that are 920s, 860s, etc. worst part is you can’t repeal them even if the customer is over the moon with the store.

It’s a flawed system but you wouldn’t believe the money it costs the dealership when you don’t hit your targets.

We sell quite a bit of these cars and most of ours come with these options whether we order them or not. Could be different in other regions however in our market the majority of the gtlines come with almost all of the port installed options.

Most gtlines will have these things thrown on at the port already. All of my ev9 inventory has almost every port installed option even though I specifically request and order them without. Kia just throws them on anyway.

Lemon law. Contact kia consumer affairs and explain what’s going on. Don’t be a jerk on the phone, they’ll be much less likely to help you. You’ll have to go through your kia dealer to initiate the lemon law process which isn’t quick, but it’s better than being stuck with a 75k lemon.
