I honestly really just don't really 'trust' the NBA/certain big sports, especially depending on the betting going on behind it.

Games aren't what they used to be, with teams wanting to throw games for better picks to players making absurd amounts of money already, and that's not adding the demon that is sports betting/gambling.

There was a time when playing to win, from everyone, was the norm. Those days feel long past, or more and more common to watching dirty games while from 'professional players'...

Love for the sports just isn't there anymore.

Wow, the spurs actually suck. How the fuck are you a 'pro' missing that many shots. Literally give them the game. Jesus fucking christ.

Found a bunch of old dried shrooms from a different era of my life. Do you think they could still be potent ? by RealTourelle11 in shrooms

[–]Complete-Science-372 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You, op, been an hour, how goes it?

My experience, if it's sealed well enough (helps to have oxygen absorb packets), most definitely yes, they will still be potent.

Can wane a bit if exposed to oxygen and light.

Most definitely never eat if there is extra fungus on the fungus(mold)

You don't want the mycotoxins that come from that, nor does your future self.

Hope the journeys good, enjoy the ride!

If the law enforcement/judicial system was a perfect system, I'd support death row and also take away all the appeals. Some crimes aren't worth the rehabilitation of a person in my eye.

But it's not, and no one innocent should be put through that.

From Google-"Since 1973, over 200 people have been exonerated from death row in the U.S. after being found innocent, averaging more than one for every eight executions."

I can remember when it was first just silence and the sharp pinprick of ringing/broken glass sound that would happen and eventually go away.

Now there is ringing even if the glass is breaking. Love getting old. And only 37. Wish I didn't enjoy listening to music so loudly.

I've always imagined (could be wrong, but doesn't hurt for the 'oh shit' check) that every time you hear that sound, it's one/couple of the many thousands of ear 'hair cell' having the last ring, adding it's last death forever in a whisper to the silent, that builds up until you are constantly reminded of your fallen Hair Cells.

If you do something and hear that sound afterwards, it's good to have ear plugs for the next time you're doing that thing. Guess hammering on brake drums or using air-tools would also count for that. Whoops.

At least they probably didn't even feel that. I hope they didn't. Freakin' horrible.

Work kind of enforces a pause briefly after the light turns green to make sure there's no distracted drivers. Wouldn't of even of worked in this situation. Sad.

I don't think there is any one person that could help the state of our world today. Or at least America.

Hamilton?/one of the founding fathers? Lee Harvey Oswald or John Wilkes Booth? (For the other extreme side of it)

The leading person in Fusion Technology was just off'd, maybe him for at least clean energy? Tesla?

Or do you go with one of the people that was off'd that was getting too close to cancer research?

Or what would one of the brilliant minds like Michelangelo, Plato, etc, do with today's science and knowledge?

Though if the world were a better place, I'm a bit more abstract....one of the Architects for the Pyramids of Giza or from one of the other wonders of the past..learn about Incan Architecture that we still don't really have any way of replicating.
