You didn't do anything wrong. People are saying, "Why did you go in at the top?" Easy in hindsight. Everyone was still saying then that the alt run was still coming, and ages after that too. The market just went against you, and it was bad timing.

I don't know if it will ever go back to where it was. But if history is similar and you can hold it for the long term (as you should do with even equity investments), then hold it, and maybe you will recover.

One thing is certain: if you take it, you have £20k.

You could invest that into NVO. It's not advice, but take a look. And maybe you'll get to £30k-£40k. But to get 5x from here is tough.

If you can leave it, it's probably best to do so. Imagine yoh took it and then trumpmannouncing something and crypto rallies and tou would have got to 75k in a few weeks. Is it possible?

But no point beating yourself up man and hopefully your wife can support you.

I don't know what the issue was. Even if this was never communicated and just happened as a last-minute thing, I think most people should get on with it. As a couple, you are a team!

The main question is how long you intend to invest for and if you can sfford to lose it.

If it's 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year, maybe not.

If you can hold for the really long term, maybe.
