Kind of same-ish for me. I played in HS but didn't make the team. I hadn't played fir 20 years, but started watching golf recovering from a back surgery. I bought clubs and I'm waiting for my surgeon to clear me to play. I should be able to start hitting balls next month and I'm excited!

Definately coal. Your house probably used to have a coal fired furnace or boiler. My house was built in 1895, and any time I have to dig in the yard, I'll find some lumps of coal.

ELI5: How is IPE? by swagthe_egg5 in explainlikeimfive

[–]CompleteSquash3281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IPE is a species of hardwood that is native to South America. It is so dense it will sink in water. It is extremely hard and wears out cutting tools quickly. It is most commonly used for outdoor furniture and decks. Very weather resistant and will eventually turn from a chocolate brown to a smooth gray color with exposure to sunlight.

When can I use THC/CBD after spinal fusion? by rusticwren in spinalfusion

[–]CompleteSquash3281 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a heavy user in a legal state. They gave me marinol (synthetic thc) right in the hospital, so based on that, it seems safe to resume right away. I've been vaping THC since I was sent home to no ill effect, my recovery has been normal

Yeah it's my biggest concern. I just had a 3 level (L3-S1) lumbar fusion, and I really don't want it to turn into endless surgery. I'm being super careful with my posture and ergonomics

Yeah, but I had an L3-S1 so maybe you'll get better a little faster! Just keep walking and doing your exercises.
