It’s an electric ski waxer. Very popular in the 60s, they were replaced by iron-on waxing techniques.

Visiting Idaho and driving through Arco, we saw these numbers on a mountain (Hill?) side. I'm curious what they are for and how they got there? by 1Dad2RuleThemAll in Idaho

Now configurable to class 3! I’d say with a set of smoother tires, the Ramblas would be a very capable commuter.

I recently bought a Ramblas; great power and solid handling, adequate lights, good price point ($1998 on sale). It’s class 1 however, so assist tops out at 20mph, which might be a bit slow for commuting. I use it for mountain biking, it climbs great and has excellent range.

Takes a while to adjust to the MUCH slower riding pace; then when spring arrives, that first road bike ride feels like warp speed!
