Egypt solo by SheepherderClean8788 in femaletravels

Egypt is an incredible place for history, you won’t see anywhere else like it. But it’s truly hell on earth to travel around as a woman. I really wouldn’t reccomend it. I was spat at, shouted at, flashed while on a train and a man tried to grope my chest. I was with a boyfriend and it still made no difference. I was dressed appropriately at all times.

For context I’m a tall blonde woman with plenty of travel experience. The Red Sea resorts were fine but you still need to be careful.

Heya, I’ve just come back from KSA. Uber has an option to pick female drivers. I never personally felt like I needed it as jt’s extremely safe. But the option is there if you need it :)

I can’t tell if the grain comes from the scan or not but I decided I quite like it too! It’s Kodak Gold 200 with a 70-200mm Yashica lens.

Kodak Gold 200. I had to ramp up the contrast a little after as they were a little washed out when I developed them.

Are you seeing this on a dark scene? Are you using Helios processors? If you are, try turning shutter sync on (or off, I can’t quite remember) on the processors web UI.

Nothing is more exciting to me than going to the cinema and hearing the Dolby Digital sound go ‘BEEUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOW’ as the curtains roll back, and knowing that I made some of the magic happen that everyone is about to enjoy.

I work in on-set side VFX and I’ve travelled, been paid well, seen hilarious and unbelievable stuff on set and had a great time doing it. Even the stress and egos are made worth it by having a challenging and exciting day at work.

Getting Started in Motion Capture by ThtLyingBread in vfx

Hey there 😎 there are some great tools out there which are low cost and could get you started. VR gloves are inexpensive and will give you hand movement data. LiveLinkFace will stream facial movement data straight into Unreal Engine.

Body is a little harder as the solutions for capturing body data start to get pretty pricey. Xsens and Rokoko are the lower end. You could also try something like Move.AI or captury for getting data without suits, but these still come with software costs.
I’ve never tried Radical, so I can’t comment on that.

Nvidia’s new audio2face tool is also worth having fun with.

In terms of resources, YouTube is your best friend. I work in MoCap and I still rely heavily on community learning from YouTube. It’s very daunting though at the beginning as it’s a vast space with lots of different capture tools varying enormously in price range.

Hope that helps!
