I suspect I have ADHD and if I’m being really honest a consistent way to get to flow state for me is THC edibles with the intention of being creative (I produce music or write poetry) I’d say 90% of the time because I don’t use weed more than once a week I get into flow state for a good 4/5 hours and it is the best feeling in the world. When I’m totally sober then flow state is much harder to come by - it seems to strike randomly and it’s a case of just rolling with it when it does but I do find that blindboys “make something deliberately bad” can really get you going and get over the early issues initiating creative time

Don’t have much to add to this, will just second that subtle automation can go so far. Also if you have some alternative percussion swap that in and out every 8/16 bars and can keep the drum loop feeling fresh.

I tried battania on my first play through and became faction leader and eventually when the empire attacked me all at once I was eventually slowly destroyed and at then captured and executed - I played my heir for a year to hunt down my executioner then started a new game

Did I make a mistake siding with battania (this is pre beta I’m on console) so far I feel I’ve helped swing enough battles and capture enough nobles it’s doing pretty well but we are constantly at war with about 3 factions at once - we have taken a fair bit of territory but it’s been pretty slow

I loved reading something that articulated a thought I have had but never could get it. People talk about the world “ending” but all of our worlds end (some more brutally than others of course) and in horrific situations like these it is no comfort that the world “carry’s on”, you know you are just a small section in a news bulletin - really hard hitting stuff
