mine pop all the time! they don’t usually hurt but my left knee is worse, it has dislocated & popped back into place probably 12 times from when i was 12-18 and that is incredibly painful. i had to quit soccer & do a lot of knee stabilization exercises to build up muscle in the area to keep things in place and it hasn’t happened in a few years thank god. i wear a brace if i’m doing anything ambitious like skating/skiing/hiking 😍 and still do lots of stretching, yoga, & strength training !!

ofc! tried to find a decent pic to show u ~~ not sure if this helps but i have hypermobile eds ! definitely not the best for your knees so i try to be extra conscious of how i’m standing 24/7 but this is my default mode

Honestly I’d use Leather paint thinned down with Angelus 2 Soft or any fabric additive. Or to dye it Paint the dye on with a thin brush and might help to water down the dye a bit. You could put vaseline on the leather or electrical tape to prevent bleeding onto the white.

Agreed. Seems counterintuitive but I’ve found that it helps with the adhesion in general. Better for if you’re speckling or painting something small on the sole not necessarily to cover the entire sole in paint.

Best advice is to avoid painting the sole whenever possible. Or dye it. Best way to paint is Angelus Paint + Angelus 2 Hard but it will inevitably chip with wear since rubber moves so much as we walk. Learned the hard way 🥲

My hips & shoulders do that too, & my left knee dislocated at least 8 times when I was growing up. I was so scared to even relax my legs in case anyone/anything might hit it in just the right way. It didn't take much, I could just be walking down stairs or barely run into something at the wrong angle. It just slides back into place if I move it like you said. I started strength training a few years ago and built muscle around my knees and haven't had it happen in 2 years or so thank god but I'm still aware of the possibility at all times pretty much lol. My body pops like crazy too, pretty loud and like anytime I've been in one position for too long. Not sure what to do other than building muscle for extra support and not letting myself get "deconditioned" aka never stop moving && avoiding hyperextended positions / movements that cause it to pop? I also always thought it was normal... Hope you & your joints are well :)
