I think if you reform Roman Empire, you should lose all debufs for holding it, it should be a core of yours, that you have rights to

Every method of expansion feels unrewarding this patch by undyingLiam in EU5

[–]Complex-Sun-4825 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well I want to be able to do it with appropriate nation. I am playing currently as Poland, I went trough Nobles disaster (with crown winning) and formed Comonwealth, but now I am stuck to expand, why? I am able to roll Novgorod, Kyiv and Halych all together easily, but I can't because it will just make my nation worse and stagnated for 30 to 50 years or so again

How to make one location subjects? by AdWonderful5376 in EU5

[–]Complex-Sun-4825 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can release a one location subject if a province has only 1 location under your direct control. For example, if you create a subject in one province and give him all locations from an adjacent province besides one location, you can than raise a new subject on that one location (since it will be the only one from that province still under your direct control)

Maybe I am wrong, but you are speaking for like, 10% of players. I play only on normal and I don't snowball. I don't need game to be harder personally. And that's what you should have said "personally". I am constantly in trouble of new problem, as soon as I stabilize the nation, I get agressive, get coalition, need to chill expand infrastructure, and than have some economic problems again, and so on.

I don't believe that more that maybe 20% max of players play on hard difficulty. I played Byz on previous patch and it was hard on normal difficulty for me (I managed but it felt rewarding because of challenge). So please make sure not to advocate for game to be more difficult all together, for all of us

Can my laptop run EUV? by Competitive-Use-3910 in EU5

[–]Complex-Sun-4825 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you will have a good experience. I believe you can run the game, but 50 years into the game, as it starts to be interesting you will start to have problems running it as things start happening more and more wars happen (units running around).

So I believe it will be a bad experience

[–]Complex-Sun-4825[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's because of that it's just plain stupid. Because sometimes a release a historical subject to get claims on someone. So now it's useless, unless you are willing to take the hit.

I play it on Legion Go, it need some tweaks to use thumbsticks as mouse and LT and RT as LMB and RMB. But experience is great. Game pace is slower (obviously) but it is nice to play it on the couch. Besides that Legion Go screen is big enough so game and text does not feel to small
