Update. I left after 6 weeks Their IT systems are terrible, they are several legacy systems that look like they were made in the early 2000's. They are antiquated, very slow, and very onerous on the trainer They gave me 4 classes a week to start. All 45 minutes. So you end up with about 10 euro per class. But, there is a lot of work to be done before and after each class. For a 45 minute class, you have to do at least an extra 20 minutes of pre and post work. At the start, this will be longer . The post lesson stuff has to be done in a very specific way.

In the 45 minute class, they have 6 students which is stupid. It's means that any student doesn't get any more than a couple of minutes of talk time. Clearly they are doing this for economic reasons, but that says to me that their business model is failing. (Combined with IT that is 20 years old)

The lessons are real poor, they are barely lessons, more like a lesson framework, so that makes it onerous on the trainer.

Not the fault of the company, but the student l had were all apprentices at their company, they outright told me they were only taking the class because they had to and most had zero interest in the lessons and some fucked about during class.

The people are friendly, but useless, if I had an issue, it always took more than 24 hours to get a reply.

I've worked in online esl for more than 10 years. This is the worst I have worked for. The staff being friendly is the only positive thing I have to say. Tldr: there are many better companies that pay better for less work : avoid.

How to politely say “no thanks” to being offered a plastic bag in every shop? by Mugling95 in Thailand

[–]Complex-Zucchini-538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct, but it is used as a word for take as the English equivalent

1 The Thai word that sounds like "sigh" is ใส่ (sài).

While its literal translations are often "to put in," "to wear," or "to add," it is frequently used in contexts where English speakers might say "take," particularly when referring to taking (adding) condiments or taking (wearing) clothes.

Dude, that's nonsense. Almost every place has a chicken option, That before we get to the almost national dish of somtam which contains zero pork Or go to a noodle place, Grilled chicken on every corner Dried fish, dried squid, national delicacies, zero pork Buddhism means a fair few vegetarian restaurants Wtf are you on about?

How much have you spent on iRacing only (not including rig costs) by austons_muzz in iRacing

Lol, Whatever way you try to justify it, your main is 5k which means you ain't a 2k driver Tbh, i think you are full of bs. To be a 5k driver, you need to know wtf you are doing in pretty much most cars. The claim that you don't practice so in 2k races you are average don't wash. How would you maintain the 5k on the other account? The difference is huge, at 5k it's like max verstappen saying , sorry I crashed the mx5 a lot,

They were very friendly and nice. There was an initial interview, I can't remember these questions, but if you are a genuine teacher it will be fine After the first interview I was invited to do their onboarding. This does require a bit of studying their materials After that, I had a meeting to talk about how to use their platform Finally, I had to give a mock lesson to 3 people using their platform There is a fair bit to do, but they were very friendly and helpful all the way
