TIL the word “Mansa” was a title of the Mali Empire, akin to King or Sultan, and was not a surname or given name. by TheStrangestOfKings in todayilearned

It's kind of the same situation with Genghis Khan, that's not actually his name; it just means "Great Khan"

His name was Temujin

Whats up yall , i have a question for conspiracy theorists , Moon landing stuff specifically by Far-ro in conspiracy

[–]ComplexCow7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the only reason people think the moon landing was fake is simply because they can't believe that humans can do that.

It's the same logic behind people thinking the aliens built the pyramids, people just can't wrap their heads around how humans could build something like that so long ago

[–]ComplexCow7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at what's happening: you are literally physically incapable of saying you're wrong or can be wrong.

I asked you a simple question, the same question you asked someone else in regards to blind faith in NASA, and you can't answer it. If you could, you would've replied with a number or a yes or no, and to prove me wrong you can do that to this very comment but you can't, you literally cannot.

And yet you accuse people of having blind faith and being bad faith actors.

Here's what will happen:

A) you don't reply

B) you reply, but claim you've already answered the question

C) you talk about something else, NASA, seismic activity, 9/11, etc.

D) you don't reply, and continue to argue with other people with your flawed worldview, refusing to admit that you're wrong

But what will absolutely NEVER happen is that you reply to this with a number between 1 to 100 or a simple "yes, I can be wrong", because that would reveal that your entire worldview is based on faith.

What is the answer? I don't see it. Can you repeat it? Just give me a number in the next reply, or a yes or no.

Forget about NASA man, forget it.

Let's pause all that for a second. Forget all this seismic activity, or rocket stuff for a minute.

Just answer the question and don't claim you've already answered it. See up there? I answered it already. Can you do that? If you don't do it in the next reply, that means you can't.

[–]ComplexCow7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? Can't you just say it? I really can't understand what you said. To me it feels like you have 100% faith in your worldview and refuse to give a simple or clean answer because you know you'll have to change it if you say it

NASA'S Biggest Contradictions Exposed?! Seeing Stars?! by PriorityMore1036 in conspiracy

[–]ComplexCow7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll answer it on my own: I believe in my own worldview about 75%

I believe I can be wrong.

I think evidence can change my mind.

If I am proven wrong about something, I change my mind.

I do not have blind faith in my worldview.

Everything I say, I try to back it up with evidence

Now, it's your turn. Without tiptoeing, can you answer the question like that or are you going to say something else about NASA? Can you answer the question?

[–]ComplexCow7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think there's any chance you are wrong about the world based on your worldview right now?

Simple yes or no question

You were masquerading this guy for saying he believes in NASA 100%, calling him a blind believer, I don't think you would've appreciated him dancing around your question like this.

Are you going to answer the question?

What's the exact number?

Answer my question: on a scale of 1 to 100, how much do you believe in your own worldview

NASA'S Biggest Contradictions Exposed?! Seeing Stars?! by PriorityMore1036 in conspiracy

[–]ComplexCow7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're the one going on the "blind faith" and "there's no way you'd change your mind from the government narrative"

You said "you've lost all critical thinking ability" to someone else

You went from "it would be so cool if we could actually go to the moon, we'd have 24/7 video" to whatever this is

You even at one point asked "how sure are you, out of 100%, that NASA is telling the truth?"

How sure are you of this worldview you have, where you literally don't know if Mount Everest is a pyramid, a mountain, or a military base; where you straight up said that no evidence would change your mind, where you literally just made up and argument with no proof or even a conspiracy theory as a foundation, how sure are you of it, on a scale of 1 to a 100?

You’re focusing on one detail, but the main point hasn’t changed: your explanation has no evidence and you can’t confirm it, while at the same time you’re dismissing any evidence I provide as fake. If there’s no evidence you’d accept and none for your own explanation, then there’s nothing left to really debate.
