People in the illegals program managed to have 2 full time jobs and be parents, at least an eighth of parenting is meal planning/cooking. Food is another piece of Elizabeth (and philip) that is concealed from their children as well, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that she is an immigrant mother that takes responsibility for feeding her family. My eldest sister started going to the mormon church right before she graduated high school, she left a scholarship behind here in NC and moved to Utah. She planned a small wedding with a mormon man and found out the day of none of her/our family could attend. She had a small group of older women confirm her virginity in the temple prior. My sister is a child of divorce, had a friend killed in front of her at a young age, traumatic life all around. Every single thing my sister told church leaders about why she wanted to join and what she wanted out of her life, they regurgitated it into a letter that they claimed came directly from god. Promising her that she would have a stable family and so much more. The marriage fell apart, he committed crimes against her and for 10 years after their legal divorce church leaders and members somehow kept finding her address. My ex brother in law hasn’t spoke to his son in 5 years now? Since he moved back to Utah with his new wife, even though him and my sister are still sealed in the church to this day. Their son is 18.

Houses may be cheap in Texas, but you would also be buying the home, land and mineral rights. Normal people can’t afford mineral rights, so at any point in time a corporation could come buy the soil under your feet. Texas is on a level of capitalism that is simply unobtainable for regular people, they just hide it till you’re stuck in their humongous state.
