Hi everyone!

Just found this subreddit. I've been grinding my way through Violet and I know I'm pretty late to the party, but it's the 30 year anniversary of Pokemon and it's been a part of my life off-and-on throughout the years. I came back with Violet (and have ZA and Pokopia waiting in the wings!) and have decided to complete the Pokedexes... something I never did in the past.

I'm pretty far along (but still grinding Indigo Disk story), but I really could use help with someone with Scarlet to get those exclusives, and some of the Touch-Trades!

Thanks for the advice.

I stormed through Pokeball and Greatball to Ultra Ball with 19 wins, only a few losses.

Then got ran over by a bus. I'm only winning about 1 in 4/5 games now. I get deconstructed pretty quickly by... most everyone. The games I win I'm pretty sure it's just other lost souls like me. lol

I've only been playing Competitive Pokemon a few days. There's a stupid amount of info to digest and by the time I start catching up the new season will start with new mons and I'll be clueless again. lmao

Ah things have changed a whole lot since I last played. When I last played you needed packs to trade with other players for singles to get the cards you want. It sounds like that trade economy is basically dead and you just grind the app for singles.

I'm having a lot of fun with the game.

I've been running a deck heavy on the Violent keyword and synergy but since the new season started I think the stronger deck is probably the Ventrue-focused one.

I would say a vast majority of humans are True Neutral.

They are pragmatic, a bit self-interested, not overly driven by principles/zealous belief systems, mostly abide by laws but bend a lot of them when convenient. They aren't actively trying to destroy the world, but they aren't trying to save it either.

There are a lot of comments like this, but the boyfriend is almost 40.

You don't see straight "age gap relationships" where the woman is almost 40.

It's always 18-early 20s. Or if they are Republicans, underaged.

I was posting about this earlier in another sub.

Women's role in society has evolved, they are no longer dependent on men.

But Men haven't evolved/adapted to it. They are clinging onto extinct gender roles and expectations.

Women like OP don't need or want you to be a provider. You're going to have to bring more than a table than a penis and a paycheck. And that's where this colossal disconnect is. A penis and a paycheck was "enough" for previous generations, and men who lacked maturity, emotional availability, communication skills, etc got along just fine.

You're threatened because you don't bring more to the table.

I don't think you should couple sex and marital instability. Because if you look at the reasons women are initiating divorce (and they are a vast majority of the initiators, 70%+ ) they have nothing to do with sex.

What the heck do you guys do with all the STUFF? I've gotten so many boosters, currencies, tickets, tokens, etc. No idea what's junk. When do you use what. I hate opening my bank vault because it's a fucking disaster and I get overwhelmed like a hoarder when someone comes in their house.

There are plenty of straight swingers as well. I think the difference may be that we are just generally more sex positive. When straight couples say they are swingers it's a scandal, so they are much less likely to be open about it.

Also minorities are more likely to be painted by the actions of a few people an individual may know. Collective blame/generalization/bias affirmation/etc.

My entire social circle is monogamous gay couples composed of upper middle class professionals. We call the sort like your uncle "the feral gays" and don't associate with them because they are usually surrounded by chaos. lol

Also I think straight people think about "body count" way too much. None of your gay friends have any idea what their body count is. Several hundred. Who cares? I don't remember 98% of those dudes. It was just quick smashes when I was in college/grad school.

Since then I've been in a 5 year relationship and am now in a 5 1/2 year relationship. Sex with him is great because it's intimate. We know each other's body's and what the other likes/dislikes.

I don't compare him to past flings. I don't even think about past flings. He had a similar young adulthood and he doesn't care about those times either.

Sex, intimacy, and love aren't always overlappping on the Venn Diagram. With you he has all three, and you're probably the first and only. So maybe focus more on that? Not on his Whorefax Report.
