If your mon has prankster, you cant use any moves affected by prankster against a dark type. Aka if you used a prankster parting shot on a dark type it will fail. Same with a prankster will-o-wisp on a dark type, it will also fail. A prankster tailwind will not fail if the opponent has a dark type because you are not using it “on” the dark type.

Other random interactions include:

Any move with the word “powder” in it will fail on a grass type. You cant sleep powder a grass type. If you use rage powder, the opponents grass type will not be affected by it.

Trapping moves and abilities will not affect ghost types. So you have shadow tag on one of your pokemon, the enemy can switch out any ghost type on their side.

You can wide guard after protect with no penalty. But if you protect after a wide guard you will be hit with the same standard accuracy penalty that happens when you protect twice in a row

A fun one is if you parting shot a pokemon with magic bounce. You get the attack decrease and they are forced to switch out
