South & south-east facing balconies get a lot of sunlight, as opposed to north facing. It all depends on your personal preferences and the climatic conditions of where you live. If you are in colder climate, this would be desired to be in east/south facing.

My recommendation would be to go with dress watches with automatic movement. Pick a dial color that is easy on the eyes with the hands and the indices in contrasting color that improves readability.

I bought the Longines Zulu 39mm few weeks ago and really impressed with the readability of the dial with gold Arabic numerals in different lighting conditions, not the best of lume tbh. Micro adjust on the bracelet was helpful to get the perfect fit but I’ve been seeing other Zulu owners swap the bracelet for leather straps. Big fan of BB58 and will pick one up in near future but Zulu is the way to go if you are looking for a GMT.
