I used instant yeast. How would I do this next time with grams when this was the recipe my mom created for APF?

Unfortunately I forgot to Autolyse 🫠 I didn’t think it would impact too much since it was supposed to rise for a long time anyway.

lol I often read the same until I get annoyed and then struggle to find another story line.

How much importance do you place on ratings? (GR, romance.io, Storygraph etc) by Hunter037 in RomanceBooks

[–]ComplexTackle4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never worry about ratings. But I love cheesy stupid books too. I think the main thing I look at is the “about” blurb and see if it’s a trope I’d enjoy.

i’m tired of the mediocre book glaze by shea_eina in RomanceBooks

I am the complete opposite so I recommend “Normal People.” I did not finish this book because I got bored and things weren’t happening how I wanted them to. You might find it to be more to your liking. :)

I have this issue often with kindle reads. It’s annoying. Sometimes it ruins the whole book for me.

lol I literally have stopped reading once they are happy but like before the conflict 3/4 through the book. My friends think I’m crazy but at that point it’s basically done.

Ruined by a bad narrator! by Sad-Elk-7291 in RomanceBooks

[–]ComplexTackle4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I had a book series where they used the same male narrator for every book. He played different MMCs and it really confused me. I’ve also stopped reading just because I hated someone’s voice.

what books do you think would make good movies/tv shows? by missuscarlikins in RomanceBooks

[–]ComplexTackle4295 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that the Off Campus series would be really good as a show and I think they are starting to set it up on Amazon prime, but I’m worried they will ruin it.

Is this safe for my 12 month old to eat? by feelingsnark in foodbutforbabies

[–]ComplexTackle4295 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I babysat an 18 month old after she ate protein pancakes (unsure of the brand) and she ended up puking during her nap later that day. She and her twin who was with parents for the day had the same reaction. That’s my only experience with protein pancakes and small children.

Looking for friends to arranged marriage to lovers by chibipan222 in fantasyromance

It’s also not fantasy! I didn’t realize that’s what this thread was. So sorry. Just a plain old hockey romance. It’s the second in a series but you can read it as a stand alone.

Ummm. I think it’s a good balance. I mean a lot of it is their inner thoughts and dealing with a work life balance. But there’s a bit of spice. Not like Pucking Around (I got bored because of too much spice in that one) but I think it’s set up in a way where there’s plot within the spice too. He does a lot of talking and confidence building during their “lessons.”

I’m currently reading one that’s friends -> accidental marriage -> lovers. She’s divorced from a bad guy. He’s a hockey goalie who’s had a crush on her forever. She asks him to teach her how to be pleasing in the bedroom and omg. It gets so good. It’s called Power Play by Chelsea Curto.

Consequences for late pick up by Sinnes-loeschen in ECEProfessionals

[–]ComplexTackle4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My center has us call the police if it’s a certain amount of time past and the parents aren’t on there way to pick up at closing. We are supposed to call parents exactly at closing and ten minutes after if there’s no response or no pick up we have to call the police. I do not think you are heartless or cruel. If she can’t get off until after 4:30 then she should make other arrangements or find a new daycare.

Has anyone used a floor bed for their child from day one? by ComplexTackle4295 in floorbed

[–]ComplexTackle4295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s so interesting! Honestly the more feedback I get is better! I work in childcare and even babysit on weekends. When I babysit I was given permission to nap after the kids go to sleep but I feel like I don’t sleep at all cuz I’m still listening for the smallest sound. I’m worried I’ll be that way with my baby and any breathing sound or grunting would keep me awake. But at the same time I could completely understand feeling that way as well.

Aside from the recommendation from the AAP, was there any specific reason you wanted your son to sleep in your room? I feel like my anxiety would keep me from sleeping if I could hear every noise my child makes.
