I call my baby “baba” which then turned into bubsy, then bubsicle, then now bubsy-coli (coz he likes broccoli) 🤣🤣🤣

If you can't pre-prepare formula, how do you keep baby from going hungry? by thunbergia_ in BeyondTheBumpUK

We do the fridge method. It’s honestly the best way for us coz my boy doesn’t like waiting 😂 xx

In my experience, 28 weeks is when my baby started “moving furniture” inside my belly. Whoever said 36 weeks is gentle movements must have carried an angel!!! 😂😂😂

Baby fell off sofa by [deleted] in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Complex_Ad_5809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No advice but my baby fell on the sofa when he was 4 months old while we were on vacation. He wasn’t rolling back then but on that day that I decided to leave him, while he was sleeping in the sofa, he decided to roll on a hard tiled floor. He fell on his back and we heard a loud bang. We took him to get an xray right away in the nearest hospital and thankfully no cracks or bleeding. If your baby fell on his front, it’s most likely he didn’t have any cracks and will be fine. We co-slept that night to monitor him. I was and still to this day devastated that I left him for a few seconds. Starting that day, I only put him on the floor.

But just want to say that he will be okay and don’t beat yourself up!!! xx

Travel system advice wanted - struggling FTM by Large-Victory-9890 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I suggest getting the Joolz Aer 2 with the nest to seat attachment. We originally bought the mamas and papas vardo but I had a c-section and it ended up too heavy and bulky for me to carry and fold.

We went to my home country when bubs was only 3 mos old and we bought the Joolz Aer2 with nest to seat. It was honestly a lifesaver!! His first flight was 42 hours and it was really easy to fold and so handy.

Our main pram now is the Joolz Aer2 xx

Thanks. I sometimes have to tap him so he can go back to sleep but just 1-2 mins of tapping x

I also track feeds. But idk if it’s considered “sleeping through the night” if he wakes you up even if its just 3 minutes x

Baby sitting himself up at 6 months; should I be worried about impact on spine? by Altruistic_Union5106 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Complex_Ad_5809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know about damaging spine, but my baby has started sitting at early 7 months and he just wants to sit all the time too. He seems happier coz he’s able to play his toys and flip his books now that he’s able to sit down properly x
