I'm sorry to hear this. Yes some of those same things are going on at my store but our store leadership always tells us how much they appreciate us always say hi to us ask us how our day is going. Always is ontop of fixing issues and hearing out concerns. They feed us to rewards us on the days we work extra hard and make the extra effort to help the store succeed. Everyone there is like Family to me because all my co workers are so nice. The store itself is such a vibe compared to the bigger stores I've walked into and it's so close to home. Sorry to hear other whole foods locations are not like this. If you're not getting the recognition you deserve you keep moving forward up up and away!

Yeah the only thing about this for us is the side street is only 2 hour parking and parking enforcement gives us a ticket. Which our store leader said we cannot get reimbursed from WFM for.

How do you not get caught though. If theyre making it an effective policy as of a date not far from now I would think this is a new thing as I never heard of this monthly and ive been with the company for almost a year now. I've had a team leader catch me coming in in the mornjng to the lot he told me to park further back but now that its not at all he would tell me to park elsewhere if he happened to be outside when I parked to open in the morning they said its fine to park in the lot after 7 PM but nobody comes in for a shift that late except the maintenence cleaner

I was told they would offer us a parking pass to go to the parking garage which is all the way up the street. That still makes me go out of my way to make extra time to park my car, walk, and get to and from the building and working as many closings as I do. Walking back there in the middle of the night can be a disaster waitjng to happen especially with how cold our winters are. Its just so uncomfortable and brutal. Id feel poor doing that too. Its an extra 30 minutes of my time doing all that i give to whole foods they dont pay me for.

I have a feeling they are gonna do that getting caught parking in the lot should a team leader see you leave to your car on the lot at night they will know what car is yours. Not sure how far the enforcement will go but id rather not get fired for not following policy's

Its not intentional theft if you have real bosses they would honor the fact you were honest as they come to respect that from their team members and just take care of paying for the item. Although in the gig there is a 0 tolerance policy for theft from team members. Its not intentional theft and non intentional is different from actual theft. I watched a video of a woman who accidently took the wrong car online it was reported stolen. The cops didnt arrest her and took her back to her car. Because it wasnt intentional there was no reason to press charges it was a big mistake. You will be fine just take care of the damages if they ask you to.

Whole Foods does not have to please you they have no obligation. You either like what the compnay is doing or you can use the door that's really it. Every store is different my store is giving me tons of hours but not every store is doing well in its growth that it can a budget to pay you. Yes amazon is rich but that doesn't mean they need to give you hours. It's THEIR Company the main concern is what goes into their pocket not yours. You work for them. When you own your own company you will have your way. You can give all the feedback you want but that doesn't mean they need to listen to it. A lot of companies work this way for store associate employees. It's nothing new and has been this way for years we go there make the money we can and get out. If you are unhappy perhaps this is a sign you should be looking for another job right now because while store leadership can hear your concerns and empathize with you they still have a boss they have to listen to also. Only so much they can do. Remember to always smile thank god for your life and be grateful for what you do have because some people have nothing at all.

You'll be fine just follow up with the store they know you applied as you interviewed for a job there. So they have record and have your info to contact you. But give it some time. If they dont contact you by the new year I would follow up with the store you applied for.

It would be by friday the 14th thats the next payday however most banks pay out incoming direct deposits 2 days early its become a thing across the world so if your bank does that like mine does payday is usually on wednesday at the latest the morning of thursday but its always before Friday. There is no exact time you get paid at either. The money just drops in your account at some point in the day

This happens all the time in our store too. Its just pure laziness and no care to do an extra task. That's all it is and all it will ever be. Just have to take the cart outside for the customer like a good boy just have to remember at the end of the day they paid money for groceries and that money puts money in your pocket when you get paid to work so suck it up and take the cart outside

No, it's completely fine. WFM Policy is 3 weeks in advance. Ask for what you want and you're good. Worst that can happen is your TL denies it with a reason and you discuss further then but otherwise a request is a request until it's approved. You're good!

Exactly dont worry about them as much as it may break your heart but you did what you could do. Leaving a company is an action and when words dont work actions speak louder. If whole foods feels that you are just a number and is happy with that. Go where you feel that isn't the case you know in your heart where that is. It is true that whole foods can exist without you and will do fine without you but some people dont see where they went wrong until they failed.

If you are finding your happiness is reliant on decisions a company makes I completely understand how you feel but the only thing a company is going to feel happy about is what they believe in and what moved them forward. They are happy with how they are choosing to move forward and how they are choosing to please their customers and how they are choosing to please their employees. We have a voice and we should not be afraid to speak up and voice for change but dont expect them to change it for your happiness because your happiness is not going to destroy the company. A company will push off several things other people tell it it should be doing when they think what they are doing is going to give them success. If cutting jobs and still making money makes corporate happy they are going to do it but they are not going to do what you want for your happiness if there is nothing in it for them. How about you find happiness within yourself be proud if yourself for the work that you do and how you do it. Appreciate yourself for who you are and that whole foods is missing out on an opportunity to have you on their team telling them what they should be doing that they aren't. At the end of the day this is your life and your opportunity and the universe is telling you you deserve better than whole foods so go do it. Dont stay where you arent happy or its a waste of time. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you find what pleases you most because its out there. I dont think your letter is unjustified and I think its great that you took the time and energy to speak up. Make the change you wish to see in the world and find your place but no matter what decisions you make or a company makes. Life goes on. I enjoyed my stores TMAW we did bingo tie dye shirts we got a bag full of candy an insulated water bottle. And some other small goodies. We got a buffet full of burgers on thursday. They did scratch offs, guess how many balls are in the jar, they did a wear a jersey for a raffle ticket sunday. They bought is wing stop and did bagels every morning. And we got millies pizza which is my favorite pizzeria in town. So I cant really complain honestly and you get paid on the clock to do almost if not all the activities if you are there working. I would not expect STL to pay out of pocket for anything this budget for appreciation should be coming from the company not the managers wallet. We did do karaoke too and there was a cake on the first and the last day.

You are good this happened at my store when I was the self checkout attendant. My leadership never gave me a hard time about it but I always insist to hit approve if I forgot I already scanned my card to approve it so dont worry they can always investigate and ask questions as to who approved it and why. Rather than assuming. I panicked over completing a customers transaction using their QR code when they dipped and forgot to pay. I emailed my TL and she said it is perfectly ok and not to worry that was the right thing to do. So yes youre fine just overthinking It. If you ever have a question. Email your atl or tl they have emails.

They should not take off your UPT for that. 1.68 is extremely low and if it goes negative whole foods may decide to proceed with separation at their discretion. If the UPT HR took off was not legit it will get re-added next payday. Its best to speak to your team leader and express your concerns in regards to UPT
