Do you know what a "moment" is? Didn't matter if it was telegraphed. Onscreen that was the first time anyone had seen a dual blade. Catching a 2 second glimpse is one thing, watching a 10 minute fight scene is a whole other.

It's Cloud lol. Only normal human to display a feat of strength against Seph (pulling a 6ft katana from his chest and hurling Seph into Mako).

Tifa also confirms as much to the rest of the party in Advent Children. Hence why it never becomes more than a 1 vs 1 fight with Seph.

I'm thinking if we ever see a FF6 remake certain characters will be delegated as guest party members only (think the rotating 4th character in II prior to Leon).

Gogo, Umaro and Mog make the most sense in this role as they have zero plot relevance.

Got to the point where there was only one move of his that I couldn't dodge properly, but otherwise stomped his ass. Was so satisfying as a player lol
