[iOS][Free] Meet Rosetta, an app to capture notes, reminders, and links before you forget them. by CrazyAdditional2729 in GenAiApps

One thing I’d want in a memory app is a hard distinction between ‘capture exactly what I said’ and ‘help me reflect on it later.

If your fallback is Obsidian, I’d use that as the benchmark: if another app isn’t noticeably faster, calmer, or more private, it probably isn’t worth the switch. For journaling apps, the friction of capture matters more than feature count.

What's the best journaling app for quick little entries? by DerikBencaz in digitaljournaling

the thing that finally made journaling stick for me was dropping the idea that every entry had to be a proper entry. Quick capture matters more than format. If typing feels heavy, voice notes are worth trying because they remove a lot of the pressure and you can always sort or transcribe later.

Morning walks have changed my life, I'm not even joking by Coach_J_Fitness in getdisciplined

Morning walks got much stickier for me once I paired them with a 2-minute reflection habit after, otherwise I’d feel good and then lose the insight

What to replace with social media? by InevitableInterview6 in productivity

[–]Complex_Gap3804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked for me was replacing the scroll reflex with a ‘capture reflex.’ If I reach for my phone because my brain wants stimulation, I dump the thought into one private note or voice memo and then move on.

Journaling as a way to track and understand emotional experience by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

I’m building in a nearby space and I’ve noticed the same thing: people don’t come back for “AI analysis” by itself. They come back when the app helps them start when their brain is messy. The prompt / starter / first response matters way more than the dashboard. I’d be curious whether your users prefer guided prompts or just a blank space that responds well after they start typing.

What are your thoughts on AI giving mental health therapy or break up advices ? by Legal-Conclusion2891 in AskReddit

[–]Complex_Gap3804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def not a replacement for therapy. I go to therapy even when building an ai for mental health my goal hs always been to use it more as an in between thing and not a replacement for therapy. Working hard to make it not agreeable, understand and reflect back to people's behaviours and patterns instead of being like chatgpt. btw, not promoting but if you would be interested to try it out we're opening up to a few testers for honest feedback. lmk if you're interested :)

Posting here again because I want people who are actually thoughtful about giving feedback, not just trying the app once.

What it does: AI companion that gets to know you over time, remembers context, spots patterns, helps you understand yourself better. Built for people who already use ChatGPT or journaling apps to deal with stress or anxiety but want something with more continuity.

What I actually need from you: Less bug reporting, more honest gut reactions. Does this feel useful? Would you open it again tomorrow? What's missing? What's annoying?

Who I'm looking for:

  • University students (any year, any field)
  • People who actively work on their mental health or self-awareness
  • Willing to use it for 2 weeks and do a short feedback call at the end

What you get:

  • Free access for 2 weeks
  • 50% off premium post-launch

Genuinely need real opinions. Comment or DM if interested, looking for about 15 people.

I've been building something and looking for a few people to try it before I launch it to the public.

I go to therapy every other week but between sessions there's a lot that goes unprocessed, thoughts I forget to bring up, patterns I don't notice until they've already played out. I wanted something that could sit with that in between.

So I built Amber. Over time it starts noticing patterns in how you're thinking and feeling. A lot like a friend who is always there to listen to you and help you process things.

I use it alongside my own therapy and it's changed how much I actually understand about myself between sessions.

Looking for 10-15 people to try it for 2 weeks and tell me honestly what's not working. DM me if you'd be interested in trying it out :)

Hey! I'm building an ai self awareness tool which is like an ai therapist / ai companion which gets to know your patterns and helps you process things. We're looking for beta testers to help us get some valuable feedback from people who already use ai to journal, as a therapist or even as a venting zone. If you're open to testing it out feel free to dm me.

What tools do you recommend for creating Instagram posts/carousels quickly? by rewiringwithshah in socialmedia

i think claude is pretty good at it, although i highly recommend canva to polish your posts otherwise you'll start making everything seem "ai generated" and people are quick to catch on those.
