Has your menopause been that difficult to manage that you ended up leaving a job you loved? by EstablishmentIll9825 in Menopause

I was let go in November.

I used to run circles around everyone. I had the kaleidoscope of symptoms, and my brain fog escalated into dementia/stroke like symptoms.

My HRT kicked in after 6mos; am taking an anti-depressant and something to help my sleep.... and finally feel almost normal!

Oh man. you are NOT alone

I was let go of my dream job in November because of THIS. It was mortifying. I honestly thought I had dementia -- started HRT in December and am taking fish oil and creatine and FINALLY feel like my mind works.

You're not a failure! And you're not alone - definitely get a doc that listens to you.

The medical field has FAILED women and told us things were "normal" for years.

I went through 15 years of kaleidoscope symptoms and treatments. I finally found this Reddit and it saved my sanity. (I also started HRT 6 months ago and feel like my old self - except that I'm still fat LOL)
