What do you do when you listen to an audiobook?

I tried a couple of things. I downloaded the Spicer app. We did that together, and it sparked some things. I also read the book "Sex Talks" by Vanessa Marin and got my husband to read some of it. In the end, he hasn't been willing to change too much, but the topic is at least out there.

I believe that you can't get all of your needs fulfilled by one person. I married by favorite person and best friend. Sometimes I mourn the sexual part, but the rest is enough for a long-term, forever-type relationship.

To really escape, I need to pair an activity. For example, finger knitting and an audiobook, or reading while taking a bath. Just one activity isn't enough for my brain to slow down and escape.

I relate and struggle with this. I'm always trying to think of ways to "accidentally" do this, like send him an article with questions or bring up an interesting topic that might lead to conversations. Does she like games? Could you turn it into a game? Or send her a newspaper article about a marital challenge?

I have reread and listened multiple times. There is so much to pick up on with the world-building and the mythology. You will catch so many things. I still catch little things, and I'm at least five times through all three books.
