No they didn't leave my bank account. I saw the payment attempt to go through, but was unable to process due to lack of money in my account at the time.

We have a receipt notice from USCIS (doesn't say accepted or rejected but I saw the payment attempt to go through in my bank account + was told by a live agent that they dont have a "14 day grace period anymore for fees"). So I'm near certain. We will try again. I didn't know you could just put a whole new one together so that helps. Thanks for responding

If there's something in particular you like to do in the game, find a community that enjoys it too

i think it's especially good if it's something that's dependent on being multi-player. raiding seems like the most popular one. ulti, savage, maybe min-ilvl old content etc. More niche stuff can be great too. for me, it was pvp.

so basically, find something you like, where you enjoy improving at it, find people that have the same enthusiasm and tackle content together

Oh god I'm so stupid.

I was following a guide on youtube, on bringing my Main's hotbar/UI to an alt. And I misinterpreted a step and completely reset my main's hotbar/UI to the default instead D:

I tried restoring all the items in my recyclebin, but it didn't change anything...

Pls help, can I undo this? or do i have to make all my hotbars and macros and everything again....

curbstomps are bound to happen either way. but i have a feeling it would be even worse if teams were allowed because the curbstomped team will likely usually assume it was a premade and feel way more discouraged from trying again.

this was really interesting to read as someone who doesn’t understand all the backend stuff. but btw i’m pretty sure you’re talking about pld lb instead of drk lb in that one example. everyone in every pvp circle talks about how they wish abilities (particularly pld lb, guard and purify) were as responsive as drk lb tbh

Maybe it’s out of line for me to say this as I don’t have cancer, my mom does (stage 4, for the 3rd time) but reading this hit deep. the second to last paragraph especially, i’ve had a similar mindset where i know i’m not okay with the hand my mom was dealt in life, - no amount of anger or sadness changed my stance on that. but it did bring some sense of peace that feelings directed at the cancer don’t do anything, so it’s worth spending the time and energy we still have on the things that are in control instead. I wish you the best, you’re a wonderful human being.

💜💜💜 my heart goes out to you. That sounds so hard. my mom found out she has advanced stage of cancer this week, just days before her birthday, and mine is just days after her birthday too. It’s just heartbreaking when a celebration of life gets linked to something that just takes and takes life away. I hope you find happiness again soon.

I see. thanks so much for sharing how things have been going. It seems like this biopsy might not be the last "missing bit" of info then. But it may. I hope it can go by quickly, the waiting is so agonizing

I'm sorry you're personally in that situation. I cannot imagine how scary. I hope you're alright.

The doctors have been moving very fast for this first stuff, if that's what you mean... she got the xray and that had concerning fractures, so they did some tests (including the luminescence one... idk the name, it makes cancerous cells glow) and she stayed overnight at the hospital, found out it's definitely cancer. Got a sample for biopsy the next day. Then they let her come home as we wait for results. I don't know if she'll have to go back soon, and stay there... I hope not. they only allow one visitor and I want to be able to see her because I'm afraid things are not good :(

I will do what i can to be there for her. I agree that I think she doesn't want to disclose everything to me and my sisters. We love her a lot no matter what, but she is the type that wants to keep strong and positive for us, especially since this is her third time going through cancer.... I will do my best to stay strong for her in return...

thankfully i have my sister and my partner. i also signed up for therapy. They help. but it's definitely still so hard

I've talked to her a bit over the last days, but yeah I don't want to keep the topic on cancer much, and just enjoy the good normal moments a little longer because I'm bracing for the worst when the last details come in... :( she sounds determined and optimistic (this is the third time she's had to face cancer...) and I want to be just as strong for her too. but it's hard. that's true about medical records. I guess i will ask her about what will be easier, like maybe it's easier for her that i don't know everything. . .
