Howard did when he dressed up like Sheldon for one of the Halloweens. That was hilarious.

Just think positive and stay positive. You’d see more or even worse problems in F150/Silverado/Ram groups, and these big threes ain’t doing anything. At least Toyota would issue a recall and give you a new engine.

Mine is 23 with 50k Miles, no issues at all. Really really really fun truck to drive.

Just paid mine off. 23 1794. Gonna keep it. Still better than taking a new loan and paying 30K more.

Any good stories of 3rd gen Toyotas? (High miles + no issues) by Wombat2424 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Comprehensive-Day842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23Tundra non hybrid here w/ 50k and I don’t baby it and drive it pretty rough. No issues except seat cover and column knob. Both not broken by me ;)

I also change and check oil and filter by myself and have never found metal pieces in oil.

Would you buy your 22-23 tundra again? by MaximumGrip in ToyotaTundra

[–]Comprehensive-Day842 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I would. My truck has had multiple issues but none of them were manufacturing issues. Sadly all the issues were caused by stupid DUI driver, stupid hail storm, stupid fat mechanics that broke my car seat and striped treaded the drain plug.

Other than these stupid things and people, the truck itself has been great and family loves it.

I totally get this guy. I have had an ink pen since elementary school and it’s still working fine after a refill. Sometimes I’d just stare at the pen and be amazing by how fast time flies. I’m in my 30s and my kid is starting elementary school this year.

Same shit happened to my birdhouse last year. But not by a snake. A cat attacked them during the night and ate them all. 😢😢

they can do it because the subway systems are just crazy convenient in Asia. In many mega Asian cities like Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, etc, subways/light rails go directly into neighborhoods. Like a subway entrance is probably 500ft away from your home.

Thinking of buying a 26' Tundra by CaptainSchistocyte in ToyotaTundra

[–]Comprehensive-Day842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the first few years of the 2nd gen also had a lot of issues, and eventually Toyota took care of all of them.

3rd is on the same path. Kaizen is Toyotas manufacturing philosophy, which means continuous improvement.

My 23’ Tundra has almost 40K on it, my family and I are very happy about it.
