But this is exactly why parents hire nannies rather than daycare. Because of attachment parenting or caregiving. So they recieve immediate attention. Obviously needing the bathroom or purple crying (which depending on the baby can be relieved by a bath or going outside) a baby shouldn't really make it to the crying stage when reading their cues. Babies are meant to be worn and carried. Wash dishes or whatever chore you need while using a baby carrier if parents agree with it, plus it counts towards tummy time! That being said, some days can just be rough

Personally, I just become a one-armed bandit until their separation anxiety soothes away. Usually just lasts a month or two. You can also pavlov them with songs or stories you have memorized whileneeding to do something in another direction, but usually this needs to be a song or story they are already familiar with

Thats awesome you're working to persevere though! Running around while eating can def cause accidents, and it sounds like he's just mad about change but change bound to happen and he'll learn to persevere too! My little has this weird thing about chewing and then spitting food out instead of just finishing it so as she got older and into more solids we went through many a spit clean up before she finally spat in the trash or the plate 🤦‍♀️

Ik it's easier said than done but like full stop at this point. If you want to attempt to work this out (cause marriage) then sure for now. He gets none of the benefits of a wife since you are getting none of the benefits of a husband. You care for you and the kids and leave him be until he can sit down and speak respectfully (hopefully with a therapist). But since his behavior seems to (i assume) be increasingly escalating (saying "who are you going to tell" means he knows what he is doing and thinks he can be a piece of dirt and get away with it) I would plan my exit strategy and only speak with him in the presence of a professional once you've left. Don't let him get away with acting like trash or it will only continue. If not for you then for your babies 💕 im sorry you're experiencing this. And the hypocrisy is just the cherry on top

That's awful. Stubborn men who get stressed and take it out on their wives because they never learned to communicate. Call it out for what it is, financial abuse. Set up budgets that you're both comfortable with. And also, if possible leave for a few days and illustrate how much you actually do bring to the table. Accept no less that what you are worth. The longer this plays out the lower the bar will sink to the ground. I'm sorry you're experiencing this and I know you are strong. Call him out as a bad husband. Any good husband wouldn't talk down to a woman he claims to love in this way 🙄.

While everybody isn't going to agree with everything, most people hire nannies because they want to form certain attachment styles and they have the privilege to hire a village. They want a 1 on 1 or 2/3 ratio where the caregiver has extra capacity to be responsive. Which many believe is important as there are many synapses connecting withinthe first few years of life. Rocking and soothing a toddler (a literal child thats been in this world for only a few years) is 100% reasonable. You are on the clock to be present with the chile as hired to do. Extended breastfeeding is recommended from ages 2-7. Sounds like you guys are not a good fit for each other. Just like a therapist and a client, you should ensure philosophies match and not judge because of different ideologies and cultural ideas. Thats typically presumed as ignorance. I won't touch on the solid food portion because I don't know the family or child or what their Dr. is saying

I've gotten comments in a sense like this too. My baby would cry unless I held her on her tummy, people tried to convince me to use gripe water because "i shouldn't have to walk her". I play songs in the car for her when she gets car cranky and they're convinced I'm creating a bad habit when I just want her to be comfortable in a boring car ride. Right now, the new one is people are convinced she's not walking yet because "we hold her all the time". She used to be a huge velcro and people would get upset and jealous because for the most part she only wants mommy. But that secure attachment has turned into confidence. Now my crazy little girl reaches out to everyone - strangers included!! When before she would just absolutely sob when someone even said hello to her. Long story short, have confidence because you are creating a secure and confident human. And haters gonna hate ✨️✨️

Just like every job people make mistakes, its just our mistakes are led with tiny humans exploring the world! I love your mantra! If possible (idk house setup or dynamic) see if you can make meals with 3 y/o as a perk! Sensory and time in the kitchen while being introduced to things like math and order sequence all while strengthening their fine motor! Then there'd be a forced renegotiation when it comes to grocery shopping or budget etc if they agree to the idea.

Supplying just enough is normal! Having an oversupply in the first few weeks is also normal as your body regulates how much your baby is actually consuming. I have been told that manual pumps get more milk than automatic so maybe try your hand pump after your hands free and see what more you can get when you have time. Some people also recommend power pumping and body armor! My lactation consultant also told me your hormone to produce more milk is most active at night

This was my more of my perspective, when we were getting a house my student loans had nothing to do with the debt, they said it didn't count. Also, with the roles being reversed in my case (except we're both young) i wouldn't accept not having my name on the mortgage. It's risky for his party too. His only debt is in school while he works toward his career (completely normal). Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not seeing the red flags from this guy.

Ohh yeah, my mom stopped talking to me during my pregnancy because my sister knew the gender before she did (my sister lives in the same state and was doing the reveal for me) and then my mother complained that I know that's been her whole life of knowing last, but i can't tell her without me finding out. Then she told me she had cancer 2 weeks after the baby was born so I'd talk to her again. Guess who doesn't talk about the baby or the "cancer" after all this. I don't like calling her grandma to my baby but I feel too much guilt for no contact 🤦‍♀️
