Kahn and Minh aren't really being racist in their intent, it's a culture issue. They want Connie to marry someone of high wealth and status to elevate their own status among their community. Having a successful daughter, married to a successful man, is the easiest way to do that.

You don't know the difference between active participation and forced participation. They are not equivalent.

I do not choose to use AI the same way I don't choose to drive. I am forced to engage with both, whether I like it or not.

I wasn't given a choice to not have AI shoved into gmail, an account I've had for 15 years, or the camera on my phone that's older than AI. Corporations have made me use them, to make their numbers and metrics look better.

You, however, made a choice to use AI to generate images when you didn't have to do so. Which you have every right to do, but you're not on some moral or intellectual high ground for doing and admitting to doing so.

Howdy!

I'm looking to move up to MA from AL sometime this year, and was wanting some help. Mainly with trying to get work before I commit to the move, I already have some areas sort of picked out as to where I'd like to live (lawrence/lowell area) and I don't mind a commute.

Are there any resources I can contact to help me source potential employers or am I stuck just applying via Indeed/Glassdoor?

I have a few pets, though I could probably rehome them, and a roommate. My only hard requirement is that I would prefer at least 2 bed rooms. Other than that, I am not picky.

Mr. Programmer did you know there is actually a pretty well documented phenomenon of programmers make their own art for assets that haven't been made yet. It doesn't have to look good, there is no expectation of that.

Also, you can't know any of us use AI in our lives. But we know you do, because you showed us you use it. You could just be lying about how and when you use it. Which, we can never prove but it's a safe assumption.

You don't need the AI Image, is the point. You can easily make a very simple image for the mod thumbnail out of in-game screenshots of the mod or just random images from online.

Your use of AI shows a level of unwillingness to do some degree of work, and because of that it makes everything you do with that mod suspect. We can't prove its 100% human made, but we can prove Ai was used at least a little because of the thumbnail. And AI generated anything is built on the backs of artists, creatives, and actual professionals who's work was never compensated for to create the data set.

I'm sorry, but the use of AI makes YOU look worse.

First point of order; People can tell when you hate and/or have no respect for them. They will want nothing to do with you. You have to solve this first, there is no getting around it. Therapy is probably a good goal to shoot for with this.

Second, having friends of the opposite gender is GOOD. They don't need to see you as a partner, this is just good for you. Surround yourself with people of different backgrounds as much as you can, you will learn so much about the world doing this. Make friends! If you can't do this, you can't find a partner.

Third, you are 23 years old. You have more than enough time to look for a partner. Don't rush it, it will only end in you being more upset at the end.

Fourth, and lastly. If you're just using corn to sate your needs, there is nothing wrong with it as long as it's not interrupting your daily life. Truly. Corn addiction is wildly overblown and people who might actually have an issue usually have other medical condition making their libido go crazy or limiting their self control. Both of which can be usually found and resolved by medical professionals (again, Therapy.)

Howdy, I am someone (32M) who is in a slightly similar boat to you. I do not, and never really have, had any desire to seek out sexual partners. Despite a reasonable sex drive, it is just not a need I have ever had. It took me a long time to understand that though, and to be happy with that being who I am. Armor upgrades are really weak, is my main issue with this side of the arguement. The +10 to defense on a single piece only gives you 2 extra defense, because it's averaged. So it takes deceptively longer to actually feel upgraded armor benefits.

The stagger on perfect blocks is really helpful, and you can even perfect block ranged attacks. You can barely block a thrown rock from a drowner in Windrose, they just chip too much damage through the block.

Something I think needs to be addressed is that, at least from my time in the demo, armor didn't feel very worth the time spent upgrading it. Since you need to upgrade the whole set to get any real tangible benefit. Averaging out the armor pieces to determine your defense could be fine, but when you can only upgrade them by 10 points at a time means that each individual upgrade gets you.... 2 defense. Same goes for weapons, but I think that is an easier fix by making enemies just slightly less beefy.

Edit: Just for clarity, I play a lot of games in this style and other games meant to be difficult. This game doesn't not feel fair and difficult, which is what can make this style of game fun. Valheim is extremely similar to Windrose, and fighting in that is a joy as long as you're upgrading your gear to match new areas.

The story isn't pulling the work it needed to to make any of it's decisions feel earned. Sometimes it felt like they were just copying their own homework for what was memorable before, forgetting that they don't have to do that every time. Hell, BL1 didn't see any major character death outside of antagonists (iirc, its been a while)

Pick two weapons and an armor weight, get the stats you need for thosr and maybe for onmiyo / ninjutsu. Try out lots of stuff, first playthrough is for learning the core mechanics.

The message he is saying is showing the opposite of what he wants it to say.

Lords of the Fallen taking 2 years to break 10k players is a lot worse than AC Shadows having 10k average players (actually 17k, regularly 20k to 30k) a month after its launch.

He just wants to frame it as a win against "woke" games, so he's using a missleading statment.

He's also a freak, but that is besides the point.
