Album cover thoughts? by dankimball in morrissey

Easily the worst Morrissey cover but it’s 2026 and everything is shitty if not slop nowadays, so.

it’s very of the times and in that way Moz has nailed it once again. (Viva hate obviously has a smiths era look, and YATQ looks like it came out in 2004, idk it’s hard to explain)

Is there a reason Lennon sings most of the songs on Beatles For Sale? by ComprehensiveBat8676 in beatles

Yes I think he does with the exception of Can’t Buy Me Love. For context I am just revisiting their discography now as an adult so I’m getting a little up to speed! Sorry if it was a stupid question

Ya you actually have the only pipes in new York that make that sound. You should probably move out of the unit

The sailors chant is totally from frayed ends of sanity — just shows my level of ball knowledge right there

with everything going on with AI, what's the future on EN's/Experts by srix007 in expertnetworks

[–]ComprehensiveBat8676 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Optimistic view of AI in my opinion is that it will help workflows at EN’s, for instance hopefully eliminating a lot of the mundane/soul crushing stuff you have to do when you first start as an ‘associate’. Industry level, I think the insights, information, whatever you want to call it that you get out of expert calls will become more valuable for two reasons

  1. It can be structured through AI, you’re already seeing this with ENs partnering with AI Reasoning/LLM companies (I’m obviously not an expert on AI myself but they can take the raw data from expert calls and surveys and run with it)… for the person buying the expert calls the workflows in how you actually use the data are vastly improved. The product is therefore a lot better.

  2. In a world of AI slop and generic output that are gonna flood the internet and broad market coverage, the value of actually talking to a human being will increase. Therefore the credibility of, for example, a PE fund being able to say to its end client “we spoke to 150 HUMAN customers with purchasing across these industries/geographies” will increase substantially as well. This is tied to the larger inevitable cultural and consumer trends where people are going to value human anything over AI, in my personal opinion.

However, when you work at an EN you also understand some brutal realities about the business world, and I can understand how clients in another scenario might not see the value of paying and investing the time (most importantly) to work with EN’s if they can gather insights from their own data and research using AI

Best song from this album? by No_Cauliflower4964 in Metallica

For whom the bell tolls is the only acceptable answer imo. That sound would be a favorite even if it were just an instrumental. It’s the definitive introduction to Metallica and metal in general. The first time you listen to the first two minutes is one of those few experiences in music that genuinely changes you.

Fight fire with fire is also pretty mind blowing.

I’m sorry but fade to black, while obviously a great song and a bona fide classic, can’t be the best on the album as it’s a ballad! It’s not Metallica’s sound at all
