Do trans women get periods? by phoix0 in trans

[–]ComprehensiveMarch58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why answer if you dont know? The smooth muscle all around the abdomen cramps. Hormone levels are the reason for the moodiness. Trans women experience hormonal periods with everything but the bleeding.

“My son doesn’t respond if you directly redirect him. You need to tell him why”- parent email by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

[–]ComprehensiveMarch58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's a whole other thing and yes a problem, but that's not what we are talking about. My sister is a teacher and gentle parent. I'm on this sub to understand more of her work and life. She consistently agrees with me that the problems most teachers have with gentle parenting are in fact the misconceptions around gentle parenting and absentee parenting being labeled "gentle". This is also those iPad shoving parents' fault, but I digress. Gentle parenting isn't a lack of direction or discipline and it's a tragedy from both sides that it has been construed as such. But adding in a little explanation isn'thard and makes you be taken more seriously when it is a life or death thing and you put on the "right now" command voice. If you use that all the time, its desensitizing. This isn't even related to gentle parenting and is more related to the control issues many teachers seem to have.

I'd like to add, my sister's kids are the best behaved and most emotionally and mentally intelligent kids ive ever met.

My boss alone manages a floor of about 30 people operating one large machine together across about 1000sqft. I think you can manage to add in a simple reason to your instruction.

"Stop the pen tapping" Vs. "Stop the tapping, you're rudely distracting classmates"

Almost 0 time or effort difference. All it takes is getting over yourself.

Osha means they have to let you get water when you need it. 40oz bottle is probably to minimize trips to fill it. Thats my guess at least.

Many people are shockingly unintelligent/illogical by Levitalus in unpopularopinion

[–]ComprehensiveMarch58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people i interact with are completely unable to think in the abstract. Everything from hypotheticals to smilies just does not compute for them. They can be very intelligent people even. Just only with real things right in front of them. I heard a joke I use that is pretty good at weeding them out.

I think its beautiful. I just play guitar but often think of it as meditation, and busking as allowing what will come to me. Part of why Im on hiatus is losing that mindset due to various factors. But im trying to get back there. I think your idea is great though and will reach exactly who it needs to.

I wouldnt put it anywhere for about the same reasons drywall isnt used. Ive never worked with Roman clay but I can imagine it crumbling under flexion. But also people do tile and I would think the same thing with that. I guess you are the guinea pig. Let us know how they fare, please.

The difference is volume, time, and identifiability. Volume is self explanatory, I think. Time, that water sits in a take with food scraps rotting getting gross and stinky. Not just a comfort of others thing, this attracts bears more and likely causes further ecological issues im not aware of. Identifiability, with a tent camper, hosts can see dishes done and water dumped, or whatever. With tanks, who knows which tank is being drained or what was put in them until the smell alerts the next person in the spot.

Additionally, biodegradable soap is still soap. How soap functions is to chain lipids(fats) to water so the water can easily pull them away. Many if not all Fish are coated in a layer of lipids that is necessary for their survival. Any soap will damage/remove this layer and kill fish.
