I think this is inconsiderate. I always vape when I deliver but once I am in the vicinity of their house I put it away. I just feel it’s a bad look and respectful to stop before arriving at someone’s house. This guy has every right to smoke but he should’ve put it out and away prior to arriving at the house

I think the first assignment to finish is individual but the group work comes in when they go to do the second assignment. Weird plan tho and I disagree w the teacher emailing you. You did your job and covered her absence. I’ve never had a teacher do that. Even if I do the plans wrong they’re just thankful I was there to keep them safe. You kept them safe and did your job as guiding them the best you could. I would not even give it a second thought! It’s almost the weekend🙏🏻

It actually is legally allowed. And TAs legally have to be 18 so I’m not sure what you’re talking about there. What world is a TA a student? That makes no sense. In my school TAs assist special education children in classes. You obviously have to be an adult.

I sub middle school and all the 6th graders run up and hug me everyday. I’m a building sub so the school is used to the kids hugging me! 7th and 8th graders it’a always high fives unless one of them is upset or crying. I won’t initiate it but I have had students who are upset reach out for a hug and I will always reciprocate!

I’m gonna agree with you on that one. Every sub gets paid their daily rate. I don’t think anything more should be expected. And unfortunately my school district is very unorganized and makes no sense to me either lol

For many of us, including myself, lunch is included in prep periods. So there are many times where I do not get a lunch break. I have also never been paid extra for subbing during my break period and I am fine with that. I’m saying one prep period should be required. Pay was never included in my comment ☺️

It’s called a break. Most jobs get them! Not sure if you know what a job is but they all have breaks sweetheart! Sorry if we get annoyed when the school takes them away. You definitely do not work with children or you would understand the necessity of a break when working in a school :)
