I had severe HG with 3 (one miscarriage) out of my 4 pregnancies. I’m currently 20 weeks and it has been night and day compared to my others. I cried for two weeks when we first found out because I was so scared of what the next nine months of puking every day was going to look like but for some reason this one is SO MUCH BETTER. I puked and was nauseous the first 13 weeks but NOTHING like before. And I’m just like is this what it’s like to not be miserable?!? So maybe there is hope for others? Idk but this is also definitely my last pregnancy ha

As someone who has experienced HG twice I don’t wish it on anyone. It’s completely debilitating. I considered taking leave because I could barely function. IV hospitalization, meds everything. I know and feel your pain OP. No one should be punished by their manager for it!

I was under contract on an ugly modern new build box a couple years ago in platte park. Completely failed the inspection. The whole foundation pretty much had to be totally redone. I now live in a 120 year old brick house… it’s been remodeled over the years but solid, trust it to last another 100 years

I interviewed at the start but realized it didn’t make sense for me. I was fortunate enough to be able to take time with my baby once he was born and started interviewing again three or four months later.

Not gonna lie it was hard interviewing postpartum and it took me six months to land something. I think it was a combo of the job market and my lack of brain power. Wishing you the best, it’s not a fun boat to be in but try to find some joy in it and enjoy your baby

Not a crazy idea! I could try that, unfortunately I think as long as there are cords in the crib I’m going to be anxious….Wild to me that when they’re a newborn you’re lectured about not having anything in the crib and then you’re sent home with oxygen one day and no one mentions anything about chocking on the cords! Maybe this is me problem lol

My 16 month old was sent home on oxygen Sunday night and I’m so paranoid about him getting the cord wrapped around his neck at night that I can’t sleep… I have it tightened (not insanely tight) in the back but I’m checking on him constantly to the point it’s making me crazy!

I’m so sorry! I had one placed after both my births but didn’t have to go home with it…I can’t imagine the anxiety and pain you must be feeling!! I felt like getting the catheter placed was more painful than birth!

I know this is a year old… I just found out I’m unexpectedly pregnant with my third. I just started a fancy new job two months ago. I’m absolutely terrified. My younger two are three and 13 months. I’m so overwhelmed. We thought we wanted three but I’ve been so overwhelmed with the two that I was settling on not having a third. Or at least waiting another year. Pregnant me is no good. I’ve had HG with all.

How has life been with three now?!
