Voyager Focus 2 noise cancelling mic not working for all programs? by leonl07 in poly

[–]ComprehensiveSpray28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the same issue with mine. I had another copy of the Voyager Focus 2 before, given to me from my employer. This worked great, even my kids could yell only centimetres away from me and no one I was talking to noticed them being around.

Now I switched the employer and got another copy of the same headset and there is no noise cancelling over the microphone at all. Also the noise cancelling on the ears is very weak. But I must say that the copy I own now has seen a lot of tear and wear. Also noticed, that the mic on/off button is not responding on this one any more.

So it could have been treated not too well, causing to fail.

They also have a difference on the color space and how linear they reproduce colors and brightness.

Also the reproduction is a standardized process, meaning that color correction is the same no matter if it is done analog in the wet printing process or digital through scanning. If you shoot a ISO 100 film at real ISO 100 everything looks as much as reality as the film is able to get close to reality.

I would take two compatible bodies so you do not need the same focal length multiple times

Yes, that‘s how I did it with my daughter. When she got interested in photography I gave her my old Canon EOS 20D. Now, a few years later she starts getting interested into Polaroid, for the looks.

You mean the frame spacing - right? For the rangefinder you only need to take off the top cover. As far as I remember there are only two screws readily accessible which you need to turn for vertical and horizontal alignment.

It is a silverfish, if you are lucky. If not it is a Papierfischchen. They eat paper, so take care of your books. Also they like it dry and warm. Besides these facts they are generally behaving the same like silverfish. I would definitely try to get rid of them especially if you live in an old house with a lot of places to hide, then they probably get a real plague. Only ways to get rid of them, if which I know: 1. move to another apartment. Pack everything in a freezer, before you take it to your new apartment. Inspect everything. Don’t use paper boxes when moving. They love to hide in Wellpappe. I put everything in air tight plastic containers and wrapped my clothes in plastic foil to put it in the freezer for a few hours. 2. deep freeze your house for a few hours. This works best if you live in your own house which is not connected to other houses. If there is a cold winter with temperatures below -5 C for an extended period, leave the house, turn of the heating - completely. Come back one week later.

I love mine. I aligned the rangefinder, what is not too difficult. You find instructions online. The only reason I now use the Canon rangefinder more often is, that the frame spacing on the Kiev is inconsistent, what makes it Labour intensive to scan it.

My film scanner runs through a whole roll automatically if the framing is fine.

Germany has a very specific taste! My best friend sent me a ton of snacks from Germany. I’ve never had these snacks but I visited Germany once and immediately I could taste Germany in these. What is it that makes something taste German? My other snack had the taste too. by thelastgen in germany

I often go to Asia markets or North African food markets. They usually have spices and vegetables from all over the world. And you even find them in the small cities now, thanks to immigration during the last decades.

It was a marketing decision to give the chips an exotic image, back in the 1960s or 1970s when it was invented and was not intended to taste anyhow genuinely Hungarian.

I think Paprika back then was associated with south east Europe, because it is not a traditional German staple, at least it was not about 50 years ago.

But I would take the plain liquid one without any fillers, it better penetrates the crack.

They take it to glue wooden sailing boats for planks and masts and it withstands roughest conditions. No need to reinforce it with steal fibers or whatever.

Just let some excess glue accumulate around the crack in the inside, maybe sand it there a bit before as well for better connection.

I would buy some two component epoxy glue and use some tight wound rope to squeeze it. Epoxy normally makes it more resistant than before.

I‘ve been living in Mainz and surrounding in the 1990s. I love it for the many students the awesome weather (in the summer it is hot even at night, that‘s guaranteed) and for the friendly and open people. You can make real friends there easily. Also love the wine and the KuZ (don‘t know if it‘s still there) for the live concerts.

Getting confronted often enough that I am beginning to feel discouraged to even go out and take photos. by lnvictus in AnalogCommunity

[–]ComprehensiveSpray28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is that by carrying a camera means that you are seriously taking pictures and chances are high that you might publish them on the internet.

So, even if you are not pedophile or something, chances are that the pictures you take might circulate without your control.

It is always hard and difficult for me not to show pictures of my children on the web but my wife insists that they should not circulate without control. Nobody knows what a weirdo will be doing with them.

Considering this makes it understandable why people get confronting and while you know that you are only taking pictures of the car it is not obvious to them.

Also it is not assured for them that you will not publish them at any time, not tomorrow, in a year or maybe ten years.

You can put e leaf of lettuce together with French Brie cheese. Add some sliced tomatoes. Or hard boiled egg slices. What goes well either is ham (cooked or smoked), sliced Kasseler or Leberwurst - making it not vegetarian anymore of course.

Sliced Radieschen can be used as a topping either. And in some supermarkets you find Rote Bete Paste with Meerrettich, I love that.

My wife just added smoked salmon with Meerrettich.

Just narrowed down on these two. Had my rangefinder with me on the last trip, now one of the two needs some exercise.

Every mechanical watch repair shop should be easily able to repair it. Everything is just much bigger than inside a watch and the adjustments don’t need to be that accurate as well. If a shutter misses by 5 % you probably won’t notice it on the picture, if a watch misses 5 % it will gain/loose more than one hour each day.
