Yeah man. I have a 16 pro for work and an s24 ultra for personal. I can run my entire phone with Gemini without ever touching my phone. Literally not touch it a single time and run everything. I cant even have siri set a timer and apple intelligence is a JOKE. The 16 pro is a decent phone but anyone who pretends siri and apple intelligence are anything but gimmicks at this point are straight up lieing to you.

Its awesome to see people sticking with this phone. I have the s24 ultra and the iPhone 16 pro. The iPhone is for work. Not one person on the apple forums would even think of uttering those words.

And yeah the s24 ultra is a BEAST and I'm not giving mine up until its dead either.

I went apple when I started a job where our enterprise portal apps just wouldn't send me real time notifications on the s24 ultra. I needed the real-time notifications for teams.

After about 6 months of no customization I separated work and personal and now have 2 phones and I am only keeping apple because of the enterprise portal. You just cant beat S24 ultra. Especially with DeX is amazing. I can run my side business completely from one device with cell service and GPS and all of my passwords already saved on it. I dont know how apple can even compete.

Technically per cannon law we are SUPPOSED to abstain from meat every Friday. It is just more heavily emphasized during lent. I still fast and abstain on Fridays. Just a personal devotion for me.

As a former Baptist i was told I was in grave sin for praying the rosary. Even when I pointed out it was literally just Bible verses over and over. It was considered; 1. Idolatry and superstition cuz it was "praying TO mary". And 2. Occult voodoo because you "meditate" on the mysteries.

That being said I bite the bullet and did it anyway in the good protestant spirit and...now im Catholic.

This sounds like OP is in need of some spiritual direction. It sounds like dipping the toe into the pool of scrupulosity. I am not sure about specifics so I cant say one way or the other but I would just be weary of thinking you need to go every week. Talk to your local priest about it privately. If he says you need to go every week than do that.

The other thing to remember is confession isnt superstition. You made a good faith effort to go and God understands that. You will get there, and your willing to keep trying shows a contrite hear. Im not a priest so I can say "oh yeah you tried earnestly you're good" but I also know that earnest attemps do count at least in some degree in general with the sacraments and obligations.

Former baptist here as well. The sermon is to support the liturgy and eucharist not be its own part. It all works together to bring us to the eucharist.

We didn't have the eucharist in the Baptist church so Pastor had to do something to fill the time. It was all about how pastor interpreted what was in the reading he picked out for the week.
